No words can describe how well my Mum was looked after for 2 and a half years. She was loved and cared for by everyone, carers, nurses, management, restaurant and desk. We can only give praise to everyone, she received respect and kindness to the end. We can only thank everyone at Bushey House Beaumont for all they did for my Mum and us.

I appreciate the building is having a "new image" but the conditions of this at this present time should be shown in a reduction of the price! The staff were polite and courteous respective at all times. The only criticism is that they need practice at making the bed. It fell to me to make my bed every evening and making sure the sheets were tucked in firmly "hospital corners" were made.

This is not a complaint but fact. This home is a listed building which means any building work is very long winded. I feel that many of the items that I have ticked "satisfactory" will deserve a higher rating. This applies to management who are easy to approach and respond. So much so that the manager has an agreement to make some changes which will be completed about June. With regard to food, there have been some difficulties in recruiting staff, but I feel confident that later on, it will deserve a higher rating.

I arrived here on respite care after a serious operation and my stay has been for 5 weeks. I have found the beautiful classic building with its views across lovely countryside a real joy. The care home I would recommend.

The Home is clean, well run with a friendly atmosphere. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Any requests that are made with regard to food, special arrangements, etc are all considered and acted on if possible. The staff are very patient, sometimes under difficult circumstances. Lots of different activities are available for those who want to try them. Residents who want to know the reason for the treatment they are receiving are informed of what/why it is happening if they want to know. I would certainly recommend this home to anyone looking for the sort of care they provide.

We needed to find a care home for my father in law who lives with us - while we travelled to Australia for 6 weeks for the birth of our first grandchild.
From the first contact to picking him up at the end of his 6 weeks stay we were more than impressed with the professionalism, service, friendliness, cleanliness and overall facilities and care offered by the Manager and staff of this stunning home in beautiful settings. There was a good mix of male and female guests and those we met were polite and friendly and obviously enjoying life there.
Nothing was too much trouble for them - and they dealt with my father-in-laws specific needs superbly.We had a great holiday knowing that he was being safely and lovingly looked after and have nothing but praise for the management and staff and the overall environment.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Bushey House Beaumont Care Home to anyone considering respite, holiday or longer term care.

The home is amazing, beautiful decor and wonderful grounds. The meal choices are great and the food is 5 star. The manageress is a very caring and approachable lady. The care staff are wonderful too and nothing is too much trouble for them.

I came to Barchester Bushey House to await a decision of medical staff regarding a procedure, whether an operation should be done in view of my age and heart problem. I had the operation and was in a wheelchair. The cheerful and caring way the staff treated me was in my opinion the main reason for my recovering from wheelchair to walking.

I have been at Bushey House since April 2022. I qualified as a nurse in 1991 working in the NHS from 1999 to 2016. I joined Barchester Healthcare in 2016 as a Deputy Manager and have supported care homes for many years.
We aspire to be the most respected home in the area. My passion is to ensure that our residents are provided with the very best of care, dignity, respect and support to enable them to live a healthy and happy life.
I have been a nurse for over 13 years. My responsibilities include overseeing the nursing team at Bushey House, ensuring that high-quality healthcare is delivered to our residents. I provide mentorship and training for our nurses and function as a Care Coordinator. I am also the Wellbeing Champion, which entails planning and facilitating activities for residents and staff to promote health and well-being.
