Staff were kind and helpful. Manager on had for advice. Food varied and plentiful. TV in room was not really fit for purpose.

Great home, the majority of staff (you'll always get 1 or 2) are fantastic. The food is always well cooked and tasty. The home itself is well run with beautiful gardens always clean and welcoming.

Some staff are outstanding, some are very good.
Commode not satisfactory. Shower too noisy. Sometimes short of carers.
My father has been the owner of one of the two bedroomed flats since 2014. Now at the age of nearly 90, he is happy and secure. Knowing he is being looked after very well is of great comfort to his family. Thank you.
The staff here are very friendly and caring and I am recovering from an operation. I feel safe here and relaxed.

Most of the staff are caring and interact well with mum. Some go out of their way to pop in and have a little chat with her daily.

Initial impressions were good, with the manager and staff pleasant and attentive. Costs were high but the location was good and we worked on the basis that alternative homes would not be that different in terms that of cost. Some niggles became apparent; extra charge for shower gel (at £1400 per week surely this could be included). Some food spilt on the floor was not cleared up and was still there the following day. My mother, suffering from advanced Parkinson’s, was kept in bed all of the time, even after a discussion with the staff. We worked on the assumption that the professionals knew best and agreed.
When the cost went up by £100/week we started looking around and found another home, considerably cheaper, cleaner, brighter and the manager was clear that my mother should be out of bed every day. Since the move, my mother has been brighter, more communicative and has said she prefers the new place.
Excellent care and nursing. Attractively presented meals. Happy and well maintained facility.
I have begun to regard Beaumont Care Home as being with lots of friends and I feel I'm amongst people who I seem to have got to know. Nothing seems to be any trouble when you ask for any help. I consider myself very lucky to be with very kind and caring people. Thank you all.

During her stay, my mother was kindly invited to take part in nominating the employee of the month. However, she found this impossible, to single out any one person. Bushey House Beaumont has a truly wonderful, caring, devoted team of staff. They all, without exception, showed extreme professionalism, efficiency, competence and kindness throughout her stay. Day or night, attentive to her well-being, the staff always greeted her with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble and this, combined with the excellent cuisine, accommodation, cleanliness, beautiful relaxing gardens and its geographical location, easily accessible and welcoming for visiting family and friends, made my mother's stay not only beneficial to her health but also to her morale. We cannot thank you enough and mum will certainly not hesitate to return to Bushey House Beaumont.

Having spent 6 weeks at a previous care home with less than excellent care, it was a pleasure to find Bushey House which renewed my faith in the care sphere. The home has treated me with the care, love and dignity throughout my stay. My stay in Bushey House was due to my husband having a major operation and I have totally enjoyed my time at a truly exceptional care home, so much so that I will be returning for respite care in September.

I have been at Bushey House since April 2022. I qualified as a nurse in 1991 working in the NHS from 1999 to 2016. I joined Barchester Healthcare in 2016 as a Deputy Manager and have supported care homes for many years.
We aspire to be the most respected home in the area. My passion is to ensure that our residents are provided with the very best of care, dignity, respect and support to enable them to live a healthy and happy life.
I have been a nurse for over 13 years. My responsibilities include overseeing the nursing team at Bushey House, ensuring that high-quality healthcare is delivered to our residents. I provide mentorship and training for our nurses and function as a Care Coordinator. I am also the Wellbeing Champion, which entails planning and facilitating activities for residents and staff to promote health and well-being.
