Since my father arrived at the care home he was shown nothing but empathy and care all carried out with the utmost dignity. The staff are all so lovely and make a real effort to interact with the residents and their relatives. Unfortunately, we recently lost my dad but he was made as comfortable as
he could be in his last few weeks and that has given us some comfort as a family.

The staff are excellent so caring, nothing is too much trouble. Our mum is taken very great care of, they have great facilities. Everyone is so friendly.
Our mum says that the food is excellent.
We are always made very welcome, every time we come to visit our mum. Management are also lovely.

Dad is being very well looked after, with around-the-clock support and assistance.
People are very caring and genuine. We are kept up to date with Dad's provides and if there are any issues.

My brother was a nursing care resident at Hatfield Nursing Home from July 2023 to February 2024 and during this time he was very happy there. He had a spacious room with a view he loved. He was well cared for and he thought the food was delicious. The management staff have been exceptionally caring
and supportive to us, as have the other staff we had contact with and also the nursing staff who looked after my brother.

Such a lovely afternoon for residents and relatives! The gentleman is a very talented musician/singer with a good voice and a good mix of 50s/60s music, a great choice by the activities team. Two members of staff did a brilliant job at getting that organised, hats off to them and everything ran smoothly.
Also, the music was just at the right sound level for the room! All of the residents seemed to enjoy the performance. Well done to all.

I feel my father is very well looked after and supported in the home, He is happy and enjoys interacting with staff. The staff are lovely and engaging with residents as well as family members.
The activities are good. My father especially enjoys the musical entertainer visits. He loves to sing and

I would thoroughly recommend this care home to anyone thinking of moving a loved one into care. My mother has been a resident for nearly nine years now, and whilst a change of ownership has occurred relatively recently can say that the overall standard of care has always been quite high. Although my
mother suffers from dementia and is unable to communicate verbally, I will say she is very well looked after and have no complaints whatsoever.

There is a wonderfully warm, kind, caring team of people in Hatfield Nursing Home, who have cared for my Mum since June 2021. She moved from another care home, and immediately there was a stark contrast with their approaches to looking after older people. This team have looked after Mum with compassion,
skill, humour and above all person and family-centredness. Nothing is too much trouble.
The room is clean, the food is good, communication excellent and the home is supported by a good GP surgery. There has been a change in management and the nurses and carers have kept up their high standards.
Thank you Hatfield - you have been the best choice of nursing home we could have made for Mum. Keep up the great work.

I have worked at Hatfield for over 9 years, progressing from a carer, to senior carer, deputy manager and into my current role as Home Manager. I am responsible for ensuring the safety, care and comfort of our residents as well as supporting my staff.


My proudest moment to date is winning the Compassion Award for Residential Care at the 2024 Hertfordshire Care Awards.
