Kilfillan House is a pleasant building with a smart new outside seating area and a welcoming entrance area. The room was a moderate size - a little dark but a lovely view of a cherry tree. I was particularly impressed with the warm welcome Dad received on arrival and Dad said that the food was excellent and the staff attentive and kind. Some minor improvements - Dad said the bedroom floor was slippery when wet. It was also sometimes a little hard to get information before admission. Thank you to all the staff who took such good care of dad.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are very happy to hear you can feel at ease with your Dad in our care. It is always nice to hear words like "Kind" and "Attentive" being used to describe our Staff. We hope to continue providing your Dad with the best possible care.
During my two week post operation stay, I felt well looked after and very comfortable at Kilfillan House. I had a full knee replacement, so initially needed a lot of support and found the staff kind, helpful and knowledgeable. I was always treated with dignity and respect and felt very welcome from the moment I arrived.

My mother stayed at Kilfillan House post a knee replacement surgery for 2 weeks. The care was just what she needed, and the staff were kind, attentive and very supportive. They were also very knowledgeable in terms of managing her pain relief and other medical side effects of the operation. The support staff were also welcoming and always offered me a cup of tea, and were happy to spend time talking to us.

One highlight was Christmas Day when I was invited to dinner. The staff set up a festive table in the conservatory, and the chef and her team served up an excellent meal. Any request we have made has always been dealt with.

From the manager who showed us round to the kind and caring staff, we couldn't have been happier with the respite care my father received in the 2 weeks at Kilfillan House. It was a perfect place to recover after surgery and he left stronger and more confident to cope with life at home. Thank you to them all.

Excellent care for my mother for her rehabilitation following hip replacement surgery. Each and every member of staff were exceptional in all aspects of her care. They were kind, caring, professional, supportive, efficient, considerate, friendly, welcoming, understanding and all went above and beyond helping to care for and rehabilitate my mother so that she could recover and return home.

Mum was referred and admitted to Kilfillan House in June 2023 for palliative care. She could not have been in kinder or more experienced hands. From the moment she arrived until her death yesterday she was treated with empathy and kindness - from day to day care, to nutrition and the cleanliness of her room. Mum was a lovely lady and her final months were made special by each and every member of staff. I can't thank you all enough.
Thank you for your kind words. We are so pleased to hear Kilfillan House did everything possible to make the final few months as easy as possible for your family and especially for Mum during such a difficult time. Hopefully you are able to go away from this finding comfort knowing that your loved one received the best care possible.
My aunty stayed at Kilfillan House for fifteen months where she was treated with dignity, respect and care. The level of treatment needed varied throughout her stay and at each stage the staff adapted their care to meet her needs. Kilfillan House has a wide range of activities and events for residents and their families. They facilitated communication with the wider family and gave my aunty comfort and care right to the end. I can't recommend the team at Kilfillan House enough, they were lovely through the time we've known them.

An incredibly caring, kind, friendly home. Felt like a home from home the moment we entered. Everyone had Dad's best interests at heart. Cared for him until the end. We were so happy with the staff, facilities and general running of the home. Can't recommend it enough.

My wife entered Kilfillan House Care Home in September 2022. She suffered from Parkinson's disease and her health was in severe decline. Throughout her nine months residence she and her family and visitors were treated with the utmost respect and dignity. All of the staff especially the senior staff were diligent, professional, caring and above all cheerful. You have my eternal thanks.
