My sister had a life-changing stroke just one week into lockdown at the age of 64. The carers are so lovely, and despite the difficulties we have faced during Covid, we are confident that she is being well looked after. There are some very special individuals, who we, as her family, trust and are so grateful to.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. It is lovely to hear that you feel your sister is well cared for in our home. Thank you for choosing Tenterden House for your sister's stay.
My mother has been a resident at Tenterden House since 31/12/2021. She settled in very well and has never asked to return to her own home. All members of staff are very attentive and caring, are very pleasant and always on hand to ensure she is comfortable and cared for. It is a great relief to the family to know she is happy and being well looked after. Tenterden House is not a large home, making it a much more personal environment, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a safe and happy home for a loved one.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments, It is lovely to hear that your Mother has settled in well at our home and that you feel she is cared for well. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your Mother's stay as comfortable as possible.
Excellent care home with warm, caring staff. I was so impressed with how well they looked after my father.

Happy with the care home. The only thing I would like to mention is communication problems. You tell one person and they don't pass on the message.
Thank you for your feedback, we will certainly pass this on to the manager. Please let us know if there is anything further we can do. Thank you.
I'm very impressed by the standard of care given by the staff. My condition leaves me more isolated than I would like.

Everybody has been very kind and looked after me in the nicest way. I have been here for six years.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. It is nice to hear that you feel well cared for in our home in the six years you have been with us. Thank you for choosing Tenterden House for your stay.
I feel this review has been long overdue. My mother has been a resident in Tenterden House since July 2021 following receipt of a terminal diagnosis. As you are aware, I do not reside on the mainland and was not familiar with the processes or systems involved from the outset, therefore, I found all communication with Tenterden helpful. My mother has received excellent care and attention, given her complex needs. I have found all staff extremely caring and accommodating at a very difficult time for all of us. Most importantly for me, as her son, is her response and facial expression when staff enter her room. I find this reassuring and it is a great comfort for her family and friends. Thanks to everyone in Tenterden House and have a peaceful and safe Christmas.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are glad to hear that you found the advice and support helpful when making the decision to move your Mother to Tenterden House. Thank you again for your kind words.
My elderly mum became a resident at Tenterden House approximately 12 months ago. It was an uncertain time for my mum, not least because of Covid but the staff did their utmost to reassure my mum and settle her in to start a new phase in her life with their patience and care. The staff I have had dealings with have been professional and dedicated and my mum is happy and settled. She enjoys the activities and social side of Tenterden House and most of her needs are catered for. Don’t think she would want to leave now.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are glad to hear that your mum is happy and settled in our care at Tenterden House and that she enjoys the social opportunities we provide. Thank you again for your feedback.
Mum is very well cared for and staff know her needs so well. They have managed, over several months to get Mum eating again, even if it is only a small amount. A great deal of care has been shown to us, her family, too. The home is always very clean and tidy. Visiting in covid times has been well organised.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. It is lovely to hear that you feel Mum is well cared for and that she is now managing to eat more. We hope to continue providing your Mum with the best possible care.
When God created angels he used what the carers are - Thoughtful, helpful and friendly with hearts of gold. The variety of food is really good and I like that I can choose what I want. The activities are good. They try to give a varied list but some other people don't like change. A lot of new activities are happening. I only like some of them but they cater for everyone here. Management always talk to us and rooms are cleaned thoroughly.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. It is lovely to hear that you are happy in our care home, It is always nice to hear words like “Thoughtful” and “Helpful” being used to describe our care. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to make your stay more comfortable.
I really am spoilt for choice. I have everything I could want. I have a choice of food and activities. The home itself is cleaned by some really lovely ladies and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. The care staff take their time and feel as though they give us everything they have. I commend them. I couldn't do the job they do.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. It is lovely to hear that you are enjoying your stay with us. Please let us know if there is anything more we can do to make your stay more comfortable with us.
We have asked for a monthly update on my Aunt's condition - it rarely happens. When we phone to enquire, we never get anyone who is able to tell us, as there always seems to be endless meetings or leave. Even an email would suffice as we are still not able to visit because of the pandemic.
Thank you for your feedback and for bringing this to our attention. I have passed your comments on to the home manager who will be in touch to discuss this with you further.
I have been ill and the staff always help me. I like the meals - it's always something nice. I have a clean room and the music we get is good. Good job everyone. Thank you so, so much.
We appreciate you taking the time to leave us your comments. We are sorry to hear that you have been ill but it is nice to hear that you feel the staff are attentive. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay as comfortable as possible.
My experience at Tenterden House has been nothing but excellent. The staff and Management are very helpful and dedicated. They seem to find nothing too much trouble. Our meals are amazing and tasty we get to choose what we want and I think that is important. I do not tend to go to Activities as I prefer to be alone but the planner I get given shows a thought out planner with such a variety. I am glad to call this place home.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. It is always nice to hear that our staff are helpful and dedicated. We are happy to hear you feel like a part of our Tenterden House family. Please let us know if there is anything more we can do to make your stay more comfortable.
At Tenterden House, the management and staff are always looking out for ways to help and the building has a lot of character. I have a warm, pleasant room. Meals are tasty and varied. We have an interesting programme of activities, including exercises, quizzes and board games. There's scope for relaxation in the well cared for garden. I mustn't forget the gifted musicians, who often come to sing and play for us.
Thank you for taking the time to leave your review. We are glad to hear that you enjoy the activities and meals that we provide at Tenterden House. We certainly hope to continue to provide you with the best possible care and entertainment. Thank you again.
I have been very pleased with the care that my father has received at Tenterden House. He went there shortly before the first lockdown, and he particularly says how good the food is on almost every phone call. He needs some nursing care, and this works well. He also enjoys the entertainment and, more recently, the home organised a wonderful day of celebrations for his 100th birthday.
Thank you so much for your lovely review; we really appreciate receiving your feedback. We are so pleased that your father is enjoying his stay with us at Tenterden House. Happy Belated 100th Birthday to your father from us; how fantastic!
All of the staff at the home are excellent. The nurses, carers and management are helpful and will always try to help me with any worries I have. They will always help to try to solve problems for you.
Thank you for taking the time to leave such a lovely review; we really appreciate your kind words.
