Staff always seem very pleasant. Nice clean bedroom (spends most time in bed). Always warm. Lovely view of the garden (enjoys wildlife). Aunt is always happy and regards staff as friends rather than carers.

Ashurst Park Care Home has a warm friendly atmosphere, where you can call at any time and receive a friendly welcome by caring staff.

Nothing appears to be too much trouble.

We are always consulted in the first instance for any medical conditions and always involved in the decision-making process.

My mum was only resident for a couple of months before she died but during this time the staff were wonderful, caring and compassionate. From the moment she arrived, they couldn't do enough to make her comfortable and feel at home.

The few concerns we had were discussed with the manager and resolved to the best of his ability. The only concern I had that was not resolved was an apparent shortage of staff on a few occasions.

From the very first visit, I was impressed by the friendliness and professionalism of the staff at Ashurst Park. We felt lucky that my mother, who was suffering from a life-ending medical condition, was offered a place at the home. She said that the lovely room in which she was placed and, later, that the quality of care she received from the staff made her feel welcome and looked after.

With colleagues from the Hospice in the Weald, the staff kept mother pain free and comfortable. She was visited almost daily and I rang many times for news. We were always provided with up to date information and it was obvious that she was being cared for. Her room was bright and cheerful, She enjoyed the view and the sweet country-air from her windows.

When the end came management and staff came to offer sympathy and share memories of my mother’s time at Ashurst. Although there for few weeks only, it was clear that staff had come to know mother and felt some affection for her. Thank you all.

Ashurst Park Care Home is a wonderfully kind and caring nursing home. Great care and attention is paid to each and every resident is the residence. My mother is safe, well cared for and happy. The staff have alleviated any concerns we had prior to our mother's admittance and we believe Ashurst Park Care Home and all the team go above and beyond to ensure that their residents are happy. Thank you to everyone for taking such wonderful and special care of mum.

There is no possible way that we could look after my sister like the way staff do in Ashurst Park. They cover all the needs as she is unable to do anything for herself. I have nothing but praise for the home, management and staff.

My mother was recently admitted to Ashurst Park Care Home and the level of care and support that we have experienced has been excellent. The staff have taken a lot of initiative to help my mother settle in well. The home is very clean and friendly and they cannot do enough to make you feel at home. It has a happy and airy atmosphere and I enjoy my visits there. The home also organises lovely activities for the residents every week. In my opinion, this is an outstanding home where the quality of care is high and consistent.

My mother has settled down very well considering she was not keen on going into a home, but has come to terms over the last four months it was the only choice. This has been down to the excellent staff making her welcome and comfortable.

The staff all seem very helpful and cheerful. Peter has been at Ashurst Park for a month and has settled in well. He likes the food and his appetite has increased. At his advanced years and immobile state, he does not enter into many activities. Visitors are always made welcome.

My mother has been in Ashurst Park for respite care three times and has been well treated by the helpful and friendly staff. She now is being cared for full time there it was the first place I wanted her to go because I knew she would be safe and I wouldn't worry about her because she likes it so much there.

My mother came to Ashurst Park for two weeks respite care. The place is light and airy with wide corridors of a central hub. The manager and staff could not have been more patient and understanding and did everything in their power to make mum feel welcome and part of the community.

My elderly mother was CHC Fast Tracked to Ashurst Park Care Home just 2 days before Christmas 2016. The staff worked amazingly over the next few days, to help my mother, who has dementia, breast cancer and now a secondary cancer settle as quickly as possible, in what was a very confusing time for her. It was very stressful for the family, but I have nothing but praise for the way all the staff helped. They are so kind and caring, and the home and rooms are beautiful. I finally feel relaxed in the knowledge that hopefully, my mother will live her remaining time in a safe, caring and wonderful place. Thank You Ashurst Park!
