The house has been attractively decorated and boasts elegant interiors and beautiful, accessible gardens. The dementia unit- called The Lodge, has been renovated in colours and themes to reflect the needs of those living with dementia. It has long open corridors so lots of space for those who wish to wander. The Lodge is ground level and looks over the south facing garden. The corridor has different themed sections that encourages conversations and reminiscence.
The home can accommodate up to 44 people who have nursing and dementia care needs. There are two rooms that accommodate a couple/ people wanting to share.
Staff provide a person-centred approach to care helping people to maintain their independence and promoting choice. Professionals want everything they do in the home to be driven by the needs, abilities, and aspirations of their residents.
Creedy House offers home-cooked food, a library, raised garden beds for green-fingered residents, music conservatory, sun lounge, quiet room and a full and diverse programme of activities. The home has a hair salon and chiropodist who visit routinely and as needed.
There is a real family feel within the Home.
Staff encourage families and friends to be an active part of the community and value the role which relatives and friends play in the care of residents and provide support for them whenever it's needed.

Fees are determined on an individual basis. Fees are dependent on level of nursing need, treatment and intervention.
An assessment is completed by the manager involving the perspective resident, family and other professionals that have an active part in care.
We have a hairdressing salon and the hairdressers visits alternate weeks.
Chiropody is offered 6 weekly.
These services hold an additional cost so a little pocket money is requested and kept safe by the Home administrator

Parking
A drive to the front of the building which acts as a drop off area for relatives and residents. This is kept clear at other times as it is access from emergency vehicles.
Roadside parking is available to the front and side of Creedy House.

My father has been a resident of Creedy House for approximately 18 months. I am very grateful to the staff who care for my father and for the excellent care he receives. I visit Creedy House on a regular basis and have never had any concerns with my father's welfare. The staff are always on hand to answer any questions I may have. I would have no hesitation recommending Creedy House to other families seeking excellent care for the relatives.

My aunt was in Creedy House from 2007 until her recent death in May 2017. Throughout this period of time, she was well looked after and was allowed to decorate her room with her memories past and present. Unusually this involved covering almost every space available with pictures and letters...
My aunt was in Creedy House from 2007 until her recent death in May 2017. Throughout this period of time, she was well looked after and was allowed to decorate her room with her memories past and present. Unusually this involved covering almost every space available with pictures and letters including the bathroom. Her room became more of a museum than a bedroom. I think it unlikely any other care home would have been so understanding and it is this kindness, understanding and care my aunt received throughout her stay. All Creedy House staff in particular the nursing staff looked after her needs so well. In particular this year when my aunt's health was failing they were there for her at all times. I was comforted to know she had such lovely people looking after her.
Creedy House is in my opinion an excellent care home. The most important thing of all in my opinion in a care home is the personal care shown to residents and Creedy House excels in this at all times.

This is such a caring home where the staff have all the time for the residents. This is a beautiful care home with beautiful staff. It is lovely and clean with lovely food. It's like a hotel. I would highly recommend Creedy House.

Creedy House has been like a home from home for grandad who was placed in care in March. Within a couple of days of arriving, my grandad was settled and welcomed into the 'Creedy family'. The staff are fantastic and I cannot thank them enough for the high level of care, love, and respect they give my grandad and my family. The rooms are bright, clean and airy. The food is very good and there is always plenty to drink. The activities provided are excellent with singers, comedy afternoons etc. Keep the excellent work up.
