Thank you team Haydon-Mayer for a wonderful summer fete, your hard work and creativity of those who helped create the event. Live entertainment by Amy, a raffle with amazing prizes and a delightful selection of delicious food and drink. I just had to sample everything and scrumptious it was too. Being able to complement the dishes and dessert with various chilled drinks and lovely company. So enjoyable to see staff and families sharing in the fun. Well done HM celebrating the fete with happy memories for residents and families.

My experience with Haydon Manor is very good. The staff are really good, they go above and beyond to help. They are really good when I phone my mum. Everyone is very friendly I would like to rate 10/10 for the staff. I feel I can leave my mum and know the care she gets is great, and she is well looked after.

Since the first day of admittance, all the care, personal hygiene really great. All the staff are friendly and I go home relaxed knowing my wife has everything she needs.

As soon as I arrived all staff were friendly and have been caring and conscientious all the time. The food is satisfying and tasty with acceptable variation.

We have a new activity organiser who is very good.

My father spent 24 days at Haydon-Mayer before he passed away. During that time, the staff did everything they could to meet his complex and demanding needs. The team were consistently friendly and helpful, and I felt confident that my father was treated with dignity and respect. I often heard staff greet residents by their first names, which I felt showed genuine recognition of each person as an individual. I also reviewed records of the medications administered and they were meticulous and clearly measured. At each stage, the managers were approachable, supportive and offered practical, helpful guidance. I remain deeply grateful to the management team and all the staff for the care they provided.

Cannot begin to praise the staff each and everyone of them for their commitment and self sacrifice for the residents of Haydon-Mayer. Please dont stop what you do you have no idea what it means to us, the family of the loved ones we leave in your care.

My aunt has been a resident at Haydon-Mayer for a number of years and continues to benefit from the first class care and loving environment. She is happy and in amazing health as she advances into her 100th year! That she is doing so is in no small part down to the efforts of the manager and her wonderful care team.

My mum went into Haydon-Mayer following a stay in hospital for continuing care. The care she received was amazing. The staff are so attentive and compassionate not only to mum but to us as a family too! My dad is now in there too as he needed nursing care and we wouldn't hesitate to to recommend Haydon-Mayer to anyone looking for the upmost care for a loved one.

On the whole, given the crisis in the care industry, Haydon-Mayer perform as well as can be expected. The carers and staff treat our father with sensitivity and respect and he is happy here. It's a great shame that at present there is not an activities coordinator on site. There always seemed to be a buzz about the place but sadly no more.

My mum was a resident at Haydon-Mayor for just over 3 years until she sadly passed away recently. She was always treated with the utmost respect, dignity and love by each and every one of the staff, even during the times mum could be a little challenging as her dementia took hold. We were always made to feel so welcome and were kept informed at all times by the management about mums care. We could not have wished for a better care home, and will be forever grateful for the care she received.

Sadly my mum passed away on 25/01. She had been a resident in the home since December 2021. I wish to express my sincere thanks to all the wonderful staff for caring for my mum in a compassionate loving manner. I could not ask for a better 3 and a bit years of seeing mum so happy and well cared for. Thank you all!
