My long-time friend and neighbour has recently moved into Haydon Mayer which was not his choice. When I visited him today, I was speechless, he was up out of bed and sitting in the lounge chatting with other residents. It was so nice to see him like this again. His room is clean and tidy and the staff
are so welcoming.

The care for my mum has been first-class. People here are kind, and caring and treat my mum with dignity. They also have arranged to get her walking a little on a frame which is a miracle. The activity coordinator is fantastic and is always putting a smile on the residents's faces.

My mother is never down or depressed, a bit sad when she sees her children leave the home. Always clean and fresh looking and well looked after. Love how they put her hair up and make-up on. Seeing people keeps her strong. Love the pictures of all the care home doing activities. Thank you all for looking

Whilst overall, I am happy with the care I am receiving at Haydon-Mayer, I feel that I should point out that one evening, about one week ago, I was in extreme pain and very uncomfortable. I had to wait at least two hours for assistance after pressing my alarm. I appreciate that you may have been busy
and possibly short staffed but I do think that is too long to wait and sincerely hope it will not happen again.

My mum was moved to Haydon-Mayer after a horrendous month in Hospital. What a contrast! All the staff at Haydon Mayer treated her with such kindness, respect and professionalism. As she neared the end of her life she was not conscious much of the time but the team continued to treat her with the utmost
respect and dignity. They were also very kind and patient to me at such a difficult time, which I am so grateful for. We did not know anything about Haydon-Mayer before she was moved there but based on our experience I would not hesitate to recommend them. Thank you so much to all at Haydon-Meyer.

I cannot fault anything with the home. Mum is being well looked after, her room is bright and spacious and clean. Staff are polite and very helpful. Nothing is too much trouble for them. A big thank you to all of the staff.

My husband seems reasonably happy despite having many debilitating health problems. He appears to like the meals provided. The Christmas lunch was particularly good. Compliments to the chef. My husband also enjoys the extra little treats and the homemade soup too.

Dad has been a resident at Haydon-Mayer Care Home for only one week but has settled in well and been made to feel very welcome and comfortable. The staff are very friendly, caring and helpful. Dad is very well looked after. The home is very clean and Dad has a large airy room. The food is nice, traditional,
home-cooked meals which my dad loves. Management are very approachable, informative and are very friendly.

All the staff are friendly and always happy and positive. Food looks of high quality and standard, with a good variety provided. Rooms are always very clean, and the home always smells fresh and well aired. Personal possessions are well looked after, and clothes are well cared for in the laundry.
