My mum moved into Hazelwood in December 2024 following the progression of her dementia. She was a resident until August 2026 when she sadly passed away. The home treated my mum with the utmost respect and dignity throughout her stay. The staff are so dedicated and are absolutely lovely and so kind and caring. I will miss seeing them very much. This home was the perfect choice for my mum and as a family we have no regrets in placing her there. We would highly recommend this home.

Wonderful care home. My mum has now been here for nearly 2 years with no problems, in fact, she is doing really well. She is always out of bed, clean and above all, very happy. The staff are amazing, kind and caring. I would recommend this home highly. Keep up the good work!

When my husband was first transferred to Hazelwood Care Home three years ago he was in a terrible state, but thanks to all the wonderful staff and their top level care he is now in a stable condition. He loves his new home, and our family have such a weight lifted off of us knowing that he's so happy and well looked after. It really does feel like a home away from home. The new manager is lovely and has maintained the high standards Hazelwood is renowned for. It's a warm, nurturing environment, everyone's friendly and helpful, with lots of activities and events to keep the residents engaged. We're eternally grateful to all the staff and can't recommend the home enough!

I have had the pleasure of managing care homes for around 25 years and have experience in many different care types, including residential, nursing, dementia, functional mental health, palliative and end-of-life care, as well as complex needs, learning disabilities and frailty in general. Roxana really enjoys her work; the pace of work suits her as I like to keep busy, and the staff and management are all friendly, and the home is very welcoming.

He takes pride in keeping the home clean and welcoming, ensuring residents feel comfortable in their surroundings. Jake particularly enjoys chatting with residents during his day, finding those conversations to be the most rewarding part of his work.
