Kippingtons Nursing Home in Sevenoaks provides residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 50 elderly people, including trial stays, short stays, convalescent care and long-term care for individuals or couples.

At the home, all staff are highly trained to offer the best care and support to all residents, including their own dementia training, which addresses the importance of meaningful activities and a stimulating environment and an improved dining experience for residents living with dementia and or dysphagia.

Formerly known as Kippington Grange, the house was originally built in 1874 as a grand private family home. Steeped in history and provenance, the house is reputed to have had connections with Thomas Farnaby and Jane Austen. The sensitively converted Victorian property boasts scenic surroundings and is located a short distance from the market town of Sevenoaks. Its proximity to the centre of town makes Kippingtons fully accessible to local shops and amenities. The home is set within landscaped gardens with views which extend for nearly two miles.

My dad did not want to come to Kippingtons - he wanted to go back home after a stay in hospital. After 2 weeks in Kippingtons he told me he felt safe and comfortable. He praised the staff who cared for him. This has given me, as his daughter, peace of mind that Dad is being well cared for. Thank you

We moved Mum from another home after concerns she was mainly in bed all day and had lost her appetite, we decided to make the difficult decision to move Mum.
After my husband and I viewed Kippingtons we were impressed by the home manager. The atmosphere of the home was welcoming with staff and residents
smiling. The home isn't as modern as the other homes we viewed, however, we selected the home as we were confident Mum would receive the care we expected, we were not disappointed. The building is full of history and Mum smiled when she first came into the home, something we had not seen for a long time. Mum was in the home for just under a year and in that time she put on weight and joined in with activities. They have a wonderful activities team and they would often see Mum singing and clapping her hands.
The manager, nurses and all staff are a credit to the care industry and we can't thank them enough for the care and respect they gave to Mum and our family.

We have met many of the residents via playgroup, my toddler daughter loves meeting the 'oldies' and gives cuddles to many. The home is very caring and does activities daily and freshly cooked meals. We love coming and supporting the home and young and old to play and sing together.

Overall we have been extremely pleased with our experience at Kippington. A course of hiccups at the beginning but only minor. My father is getting the best possible care and seems very fond of the staff and carers who seem charming. Plus the food is very good.
