Ami Group - The Knoll Unit and Ami Court Unit

To me care is all about 'Listening to the residents needs, being sympathetic to their symptom's & providing 'well being' which can come in all shapes & forms. My mother is a determined Lady at nearly 80 & but without the motivation, energy & quality of care the Home has provided, I fear she may have gone very much within herself & deteriorated further. Thank you from the bottom of my Heart 'Ami Court.

I attended a well-being afternoon on Monday 22nd June for lady residents. This being my third one they have all been very enjoyable not just by the residents but by the invited guests too. This is a vital service run by the wellbeing lady & the activities lady. It is clear to see how much the residents enjoy this and appreciate the interacting with all who attend. Well done Ami Group!

Up to yet I have nothing but praise for the staff for the care they have given to the resident. Only one moan he says he is getting up too late, But overall good.

So happy with everyone here, the progress Dad is making is amazing. He has only been here for just over 2 weeks but the progress is unbelievable! Food amazing, room is so clean :)

The ladie’s afternoons are great! Tea & cake as well as talks and today a make up demonstration which was fantastic! Kay was made up and every step was explained by Jenny. Kay looked fabulous and made me realize I've done my make up wrong for 60 years!

Very welcoming, room full of happiness & laughter. Jennie delivered her beauty tips using Kay as her model. Stephanie is always busy, looking after everyone. A lovely get-together

It took me a little while to settle in at Ami Court. The staff are all friendly and very kind and understanding, we have quizzes which I enjoy also bingo and music. The food is excellent and plentiful. You can choose to have something different if you don't like what is on the menu. The lounge is bright and comfortable as is the bedroom. It is the lovely staff (and management) that have made me feel welcome and safe here. I thank them for that.

Dad is now living in a home Ami Court deal. As a family, we were worried about the care he was going to get. His room is very clean with an ensuite and he is very well cared for, he's clean, fed very well, and happy. The management and all staff have been very helpful, kind and caring. We are very happy with the home and so is dad. All the staff work very hard to clearly make this a happy and caring home. Thank you.

Based on the four visits we have made, I found a lovely, clean, inviting reception area, safety on the doors, and greeted by very nice, welcoming staff. Very nicely decorated and the room is lovely, warm and inviting. The room is very nice and warm, with lovely curtains and homely. The staff have been lovely to our relative, and she seems happier and more care and comfort helps. Just generally, she's more content and relaxed. Very happy indeed.

I can never thank Ami Court enough for what they did for Nan.

Very friendly and helpful home and staff. They have rescued us on at least two occasions with both family and close friends. Their care is always exemplary and kindness personified. All staff seem very well informed and happy in their roles, with obviously strong and effective management.

The staff are always available, keep me informed, answer my questions and explain each step of his care to me.

Warmly welcomed into Ami Court. Carers respectful and always available. Homely feel catering for individual needs. Appropriate nursing care.

Ami Court have been a wonderful team of carers, managers and friends to myself and my elderly gentleman friend, that spent just over a month in their care. The services provided were excellent. Ami Court was always clean and tidy, and the food was good and hot at mealtimes. Many thanks to all at Ami Court for the many cups of tea that was given to me.

Pleasantly surprised at how well Ami Court Care Home is run. The only disappointment is that due to my husband's anxiety and agitation, they are unable to use their equipment to put him in the lounge with the other residents, he is confined to his bed as he is a danger to himself and the staff. Ami Court have tried very hard to rectify this.

The change in Mum since she transferred from the hospital to Ami Court is unbelievable. She is smiling and chatting again. She is well fed and safe. Within a few days, she is joining in activities. There is a happy, vibrant vibe at Ami Court. In just 3 days, mum has done exercises, played bingo and started reading again. I cannot recommend Ami Court enough. Mum is herself again.

The home is wonderful. All the staff are very caring. Mum's health has improved immensely, and I honestly thought that Mum would not make it through the first night. The home has made something impossible possible. I was so surprised to see her joining in with activities as this is something she would never do. Mum has made friends with other residents and now spends her days in the lounge. I feel very welcomed when I visit, and I am able to visit when I please, as if I was visiting mum in her own home.

Since my mum has lived in The Knoll, she has been cared for excellently. Management and all the staff care so much for all the residents, also keeping our family informed of any developments. Nothing is too much trouble. The home is a very happy place which I think helps my mum. Food is top quality. My mum's bedroom is always neat, tidy and homely. Thanks everyone for looking after my mum. She's the only one I've got!
