My husband was only in Ami Court for 2 weeks when he was discharged from hospital. He passed away on 10th May 2021. I was very pleased with the way he was treated for that short period of time. So I am limited on the answers I can give as because of covid restrictions, could only have a visit through

My father was with AMI Court for a short while after being fast-track discharged from hospital following a poor experience with another care provider. AMI Court was an absolute revelation. Their assistance with the discharge process, open, honest and resident centred care. The dialogue was much appreciated.
This coupled with excellent visiting access was very much a comfort for the family.

I have nothing but admiration for the care home staff. They treat my mother with respect and dignity. I live a long way from the care home but I know I can ring and speak to them and my mother whenever I want. They are always cheerful and extremely helpful and kind.
My mother is lucky to be there.

Ami Court have been brilliant right from the start. It was recommended to me by two people. I rang feeling tearful and anxious, but the lady I spoke to made me feel completely at ease. Three months on, both Mum and I laugh and smile again. The home is amazing, thanks to the wonderful, happy management
and staff. Nothing is too much trouble. They have given us both a new lease of life. Keep up the good work.

This nursing home is second to none. You can see on your arrival how lovely it is kept and to a very high standard. The residents are treated with respect and dignity and are so happy. This is down to the management and their staff who are so professional, caring and helpful.

Dad was determined by the hospital to be end of life after contracting Covid in January 2021. Ami Court took him in and provided outstanding care to him, looking after him 24/7. The lovely staff were like a group of angels, every one of them treating him in a gentle, kind and respectful manner. After
his 2-week isolation, he was taken to the lounge to join the other residents and seems to really enjoy himself. He has become stronger, sociable and is so well looked after. He celebrated his 87th birthday on 6 March, a day we never thought we would get to, and the staff provided him with a lovely day. Last week, St Patricks Day celebrations were provided and videos sent of him enjoying himself. I am so pleased that he went to Ami Court. I have no doubt that he wouldn't be with us today without their loving care. Nothing is too much trouble and, even though I telephone every day and visit as much as I can book in, I have never felt a nuisance.

My experience of Ami Court is that the staff are extremely caring and thoughtful. They have been remarkable during the coronavirus pandemic, they are honest and sympathetic. They are proactive and always thinking of the patient. I have nothing but praise for them, they are outstanding.

My Uncle seems quite settled and happier since he got his own room. During the "coronavirus" times I personally would have appreciated more contact (communication) to let me know the latest about visits etc, but I do appreciate the home have done their best to provide a facility for visits. My aunt was admitted to Ami Court on discharge from hospital for end of life care. Whilst there, she received friendly, gentle and very patient assistance from the staff, despite her being quite a challenging character. Whenever she asked us to speak with the members of staff, they were invariably polite
and attentive, really listened to what we were saying and highly responsive.
As my aunt's health failed, we were informed promptly so that we could come and say our goodbyes. We stayed most of the day and were given lunch (which was delicious).
Whenever my aunt was agitated or in need of medication, staff were on hand to soothe and look after her, maintaining her dignity at all times. I think that my aunt had the best care in the circumstances and I'm very glad that she was admitted to Ami Court. I would like to thank everyone at Ami Court for everything that they did to look after my aunt and make her comfortable.

I am so pleased with the way my mother is being looked after. When she went into the home, she did not talk that much, did not want to eat, she just wanted to stay in bed on her own. Her legs and feet were so weak and swollen, and she was so introvert; she was happy to see the family but did not interact
much past a smile, but now she is up and dressed, saying a lot more, and her legs and feet are to a normal size. She said she is happy and does not want to go home. We are so happy.

Despite the lockdown, the staff at Ami Court have always gone the extra mile for mum, spending more time with her when she’s felt anxious, and also making her a special birthday treat.
We’re on the phone to Mum every day, and the nurses are always happy to talk about how Mum’s been and always have
her best interests at heart.
