Ami Group - The Knoll Unit and Ami Court Unit

I moved my sister from another nursing home in April 2022. Compared to the other nursing home, The Knoll is far superior in care, activities and liaising with the doctor. I am very happy for my sister. I cannot fault The Knoll. The staff and management are excellent.

Extremely helpful, go to the extreme to make one feel comfortable. They even wiped my bottom for me for which I was very pleased and very thankful, I really was very thankful as I didn't have the strength for doing it. So many thanks.

When it was time to finally place Dad into someone else's care to help meet his growing complex needs, I was amazed to find such a wonderful little gem for him to be placed into. I cannot convey my heartfelt thanks enough to the team of dedicated carers at this establishment. My husband and I were made to feel so welcome and it soon became obvious that nothing was too much trouble. I found it very reassuring to gain a feeling of trust and a sense of knowing that when it was time for me to go after visits I could leave some of my worry at the door as I knew Dad was getting all the care that he needed around the clock.

This is an excellent home employing some excellent staff who bond with their residents, showing kindness and treating them with dignity. There are numerous activities to stimulate and interest. During covid, this management team made every effort to keep residents safe which at times meant making difficult decisions restricting family visits. I would recommend The Knoll and the Ami Group in general.

Dad, unfortunately, was only at Ami Court for such a short time, but throughout that time he was well cared for. The manager and her staff were always very kind and cheerful around Dad. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursing home.

My husband was recently moved here from hospital. Ami Court has exceeded our expectations tenfold. My husband loves living here already. The staff and care have been amazing nothing is too much to ask for. Thank you for caring for him but also fur putting my mind at rest.

Kind, courteous, and supportive staff who do and try their best to care for my Dad. They look after him well. He is clean, groomed, and well-fed. They respond to him and his needs and are respectful, helpful, and understanding.

I have been a patient for 5 years. This home is very friendly, clean, lovely carers. Management is so good at keeping us all safe from everything. I would not want to live anywhere else.

I am very pleased with the service I receive. All staff are very helpful and treat me like a princess. I really feel at home and part of a family.

A lovely clean and homely environment. The matron and her staff are always friendly and happy to help. My mother always looks clean and tidy. Good wholesome food and plenty of it! Haven't visited as much due to covid, but when I have my mother looks well.

Overall we are happy with the care our relative receives. Our experience has been entirely through the coronavirus pandemic and so that has added significant difficulties (which Ami Court has coped with well). My only concern would be about communication. Lack of website or printed material/brochure; and contact re financial information.

Satisfied with the overall care and my sister seems very happy.

My husband was only in Ami Court for 2 weeks when he was discharged from hospital. He passed away on 10th May 2021. I was very pleased with the way he was treated for that short period of time. So I am limited on the answers I can give as because of covid restrictions, could only have a visit through the french doors.

My father was with AMI Court for a short while after being fast-track discharged from hospital following a poor experience with another care provider. AMI Court was an absolute revelation. Their assistance with the discharge process, open, honest and resident centred care. The dialogue was much appreciated. This coupled with excellent visiting access was very much a comfort for the family.

My mother is lucky to be there.

Ami Court have been brilliant right from the start. It was recommended to me by two people. I rang feeling tearful and anxious, but the lady I spoke to made me feel completely at ease. Three months on, both Mum and I laugh and smile again. The home is amazing, thanks to the wonderful, happy management and staff. Nothing is too much trouble. They have given us both a new lease of life. Keep up the good work.

This nursing home is second to none. You can see on your arrival how lovely it is kept and to a very high standard. The residents are treated with respect and dignity and are so happy. This is down to the management and their staff who are so professional, caring and helpful.

I would like to recommend this home, owners and carers. My husband has been a resident for over three years, and I've always been very satisfied.
