Clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful, and my mum is looked after very well.
I have only visited this home once due to Covid restriction, but the staff were lovely, it was clean, and Mum seems to be settled.
Dad was determined by the hospital to be end of life after contracting Covid in January 2021. Ami Court took him in and provided outstanding care to him, looking after him 24/7. The lovely staff were like a group of angels, every one of them treating him in a gentle, kind and respectful manner. After his 2-week isolation, he was taken to the lounge to join the other residents and seems to really enjoy himself. He has become stronger, sociable and is so well looked after. He celebrated his 87th birthday on 6 March, a day we never thought we would get to, and the staff provided him with a lovely day. Last week, St Patricks Day celebrations were provided and videos sent of him enjoying himself. I am so pleased that he went to Ami Court. I have no doubt that he wouldn't be with us today without their loving care. Nothing is too much trouble and, even though I telephone every day and visit as much as I can book in, I have never felt a nuisance.
My experience of Ami Court is that the staff are extremely caring and thoughtful. They have been remarkable during the coronavirus pandemic, they are honest and sympathetic. They are proactive and always thinking of the patient. I have nothing but praise for them, they are outstanding.
Very caring and attentive staff. Made a big difference to the quality of our elderly friend's final phase of life. Hygiene, personal support and commitment to giving him the best opportunities can not be undervalued.
My Uncle seems quite settled and happier since he got his own room. During the "coronavirus" times I personally would have appreciated more contact (communication) to let me know the latest about visits etc, but I do appreciate the home have done their best to provide a facility for visits. Thank you.
My husband has been in the home for the past two years and I have always been more than satisfied with his care, especially with the dedicated staff.
I have found AMI Court to be excellent Care Providers for my mum.
Very clean, calm homely environment. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The family are kept informed about relative highly recommended.
As my aunt's health failed, we were informed promptly so that we could come and say our goodbyes. We stayed most of the day and were given lunch (which was delicious).
Whenever my aunt was agitated or in need of medication, staff were on hand to soothe and look after her, maintaining her dignity at all times. I think that my aunt had the best care in the circumstances and I'm very glad that she was admitted to Ami Court. I would like to thank everyone at Ami Court for everything that they did to look after my aunt and make her comfortable.
The nursing staff treated my sister with dignity, compassion, care and sympathy. They were wonderful and I am very grateful to them.
Unfortunately due to Covid-19 visits have been restricted. On the couple of occasions, I did visit all the staff were very helpful and kind. My father was made very welcome and kept comfortable at all times.
I am so pleased with the way my mother is being looked after. When she went into the home, she did not talk that much, did not want to eat, she just wanted to stay in bed on her own. Her legs and feet were so weak and swollen, and she was so introvert; she was happy to see the family but did not interact much past a smile, but now she is up and dressed, saying a lot more, and her legs and feet are to a normal size. She said she is happy and does not want to go home. We are so happy.
We’re on the phone to Mum every day, and the nurses are always happy to talk about how Mum’s been and always have her best interests at heart.
My mother was admitted to be cared for the 'end of life' care and died yesterday. She was lovingly cared for in all respects and staff treated her with respect and gave her the dignity she deserved.
Mum was not at Ami Court for very long as did not go till 22nd December, but during this time she received the best care, as a daughter, I would wish. She was treasured by all and nursed at the end with utmost dignity and compassion and I was also kept informed at all times of day and night.
The food is always appetizing, with choices available and care is taken in tempting her to eat as wide a variety of foods as possible.
We are always made to feel very welcome and kept informed as to her health and general well-being. Both the management and nursing teams are led by highly dedicated and experienced staff whose professionalism is reassuring. We have every confidence that The Knoll addresses the needs of my mother to the highest standards they can and we are grateful to them.
Thank you very much for such kind words. We are grateful for the time given to express them.
My grandmother who has Alzheimer's disease has lived at The Knoll Nursing Home for five years. During this time we have found the team at The Knoll to be kind and caring. They are very responsive and are excellent at keeping us updated both in person and over the telephone. They always make my family feel very welcome when we are visiting. The leadership is excellent. I would like to thank the whole team for all that they do.
Thank you for your kind review, we very much welcome any suggestions.
My dad was in Ami Court for six weeks this year until he died, he was given excellent care from the lovely staff.
The staff treat the residents as family.
The manager and staff have all been so caring and supportive to me as well. It has been a very difficult time having both my parents ill and needing 24-hour care. The manager and staff understand what I am going through and I know that my dad was well cared for until he died.
My mum needs constant care and the staff are there to see to her every need, they are so patient, professional, kind and hardworking.
Thank you to the manager and staff at Ami Court.
He would like his own privacy, plus it can be noisy for him and this disturbs him.
He also doesn't see/understand why he has to pay for someone to go to hospital appointments. Otherwise, he is satisfied.
Thank you for your review and feedback, we really do appreciate it. We take all our comments, reviews and feedback very seriously and strive to fulfil requests from our residents as soon as we possibly can. On the 1st of October, this gentleman was moved to a single room which became available, he...
