Dad, Frank came on the 16th December 2024, until 3rd of June, when died in his bed. Throughout his residency he was treated very well with care, concern and humour and dare I say love too. As family we were always welcomed, and all staff were friendly and very approachable and we shared many funny times. Over this period the other residents became part of the routine of a visit. I was blessed to have visited the day before, and he was happy and smiling. You all do a great job and service to residents and visitors equally.

We needed to find a good Rest/Nursing Home for an elderly friend of ours who had no relations. We viewed a few 'Homes' but once we viewed 'Little Court' we viewed no more as knew we had found the right place. Our elderly friend received good care and attention from Little Court staff up to his death. All what Little Court and its Staff did for our elderly friend has been much appreciated by us and we have no qualms in recommending 'Little Court' - Jacqueline & Robert.

My father had dementia and stayed at Littlecourt for the last year of his life. At first I found it painful to leave him for I wanted to care for him myself, but it became clear that a home was the best place for him. I am so grateful to Littlecourt that they provided such a supportive environment with which to spend that time. It is in a beautiful village, wheeling my father around it was a real delight. The staff were attentive and kind, welcoming me and my dog at any hour. I would always find my father spotless, well fed, smiling and comfortable. Towards the end my father needed more care.Throughout the staff diligently and patiently attended to him. It is of enormous relief to think that he died content surrounded by such kind and genuine people. I especially was amazed by the wonderful nurses (Noel) and the superb GP who were always available to speak to and ensured my father died painlessly. I cannot recommend this home highly enough. Thankyou Littlecourt!

Little Court nursing home looked after my father amazingly well. Dad was made comfortable and pain free as much as possible. The staff were friendly and always on hand to help. Dad enjoyed his stay very much.

My husband stayed at Little Court from April 2024 until he died on January 3rd. At first, he was there for respite care as I was unable to care for him at home as I had broken my hip on the 15th of April. He was looked after by very efficient and friendly staff and seemed happy. Unfortunately, Alzheimer's had taken his speech and most verbal communication, but as he was always a gentleman and accepting of the situation, he was popular with the staff.
I visited several times a week and the care home was always clean and smelt fresh. The staff were attentive and caring and the atmosphere was that of a happy home. The food was prepared in the kitchen very close at hand and was fresh and appealing and served to whoever needed assistance.
Clothes were constantly being cleaned and replaced.

Overall, I couldn't fault Little Court and it made a lasting impression on me as until then, I had not experienced a care home of any kind.

My mother was admitted to Little Court Nursing Home for palliative care.
She was only there 5-6 weeks before she passed away.
In that short time Mum was at Little Court she received the best care from all the staff. Any issues that Mum had were addressed straight away.
The staff were so friendly and happy and nothing was too much trouble.
I felt assured that when I was not able to see Mum as much as I would have liked to, she was well cared for.

Thank you Little Court.

Review from Ann S (Relative of Resident) published on 26 September 2024 Submitted via Website

My next of kin was a resident of Little Court for 18 months before sadly passing away in August. He suffered from dementia and was chairbound but the carers were always lovely to him and very patient. Any medical issues were spotted straight away and he received excellent nursing care. His room and he himself were always kept very clean and there were never any nasty smells in the house! Everyone was very cheerful and there was a good variety of entertainment for those able to join in. But one of the stand out points about Little Court was the communication. I had regular face to face meetings with the Manager and any issues were followed up without chasing. The app they use allowed me to see how my relative was doing on a daily basis if I wanted and I appreciated the notes that the staff entered into it. If there were any more serious concerns, I was contacted by phone immediately. This excellent and consistent communication reassured me that I was being kept up to date.

Many thanks to Little Court for helping me with my much-loved mother, following a fall and a period in the hospital, with respite care. The speed and ease of accepting her was of great support to all our family. Her room was bright and kept spotless, the carers were very friendly, cheerful and so willing to help. I was able to have a few days away, knowing that she was in very good hands! Thanks so much to everyone.

My mother had to move homes in a hurry as her previous one was closing at short notice. In the event, she was only there for eight days before she died, but in that time she was very well cared for. The staff were always friendly and helpful, and, as a family, we're glad she was in the peaceful surroundings of Little Court.

Thanks for making mum's respite care so smooth. Mum said the food was great and she had plenty to eat and drink - she loves her food.
The staff were kind and thoughtful and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. I live 600 miles away so it was reassuring to know mum was well looked after and that when I phoned, the staff never minded taking the phone to her.

All in all 5 stars, thank you very much.

Our Dad has been at Little Court since April with Dementia, he was made welcome by everyone on arrival and has been treated with kindness and respect by all the staff which is so important at this difficult time.

He was previously at Little Court for respite a year ago and we were so pleased when they were able to offer him a place when my 90-year-old mum could no longer care for him at home when it become clear he needed 24-hour care and attention. As a family we would like to thank the manager and all the staff at Little Court for all the kindness, care and respect given to Dad and the continued support you show to our mum, we are very grateful to all involved.
