My uncle stayed at Populars only for 12 days and unfortunately passed away but the service was amazing. Staff looked after him so well and the home clean and very efficient. Staff also looked after residents family too.

My mum was in The Poplars for almost two years and in that time was treated by staff with kindness and respect.
The management was efficient, the nurses brilliant and the carers always cheerful and positive.
Altogether the combined staff have created a happy family atmosphere in the house which benefits the residents enormously.

Thank you.

My Mother spent the last 3 months of her life at poplars. The care she received was excellent and always professional. She was looked after with compassion and at all times her dignity was respected. She passed away peacefully and during her last week she was kept comfortable and monitored to ensure she was not in pain. My Brother and I were well supported during this time which made a difficult time less distressing to go through.

Overall Experience

My Mother was a temporary resident for 14 weeks at The Poplars and the care she received was fantastic. Every member of staff went above and beyond to make her stay a real Home from Home. We were made to feel like family. This had been a very traumatic time for us all. Her stay here gave us all a chance to recuperate in the knowledge she was being so well cared for! We can’t thank them enough!!

My father was only temporarily a resident Aged 93. he required none weight bearing care and stayed just over 3 months.
The care he received was second to none in every aspect. This has been our first experience of a care home and if in the future, my father needed care again, we would not hesitate to go back to Poplars.

everyone has been marvellous but this one member of staff just stood out and she is great.

My father was in end of life care in 2016 and now my uncle is here. Wonderful caring staff at all levels, nice to hear that all will pop their head in and introduce themselves, great respect of their resident's dignity.
