We arrived from Plymouth, to celebrate our grandad's 103rd birthday, with all of our family, the staff were lovely and we throughly enjoyed the delicious three course meal they proved us. The quite lounge was fully decorated, with balloons and banners, which was a brilliant space to enjoy such a lovely celebration. Thank you very much for all your effort and looking after our special grandad, we look forward to our next visit!
Thank you for your kind words. We are so pleased to hear that everyone enjoyed the celebrations and food! Please do come and visit us again soon!
My father-in-law moved from the North to Barchester Middletown Grange Care Home at the end of January. He is happy and contented and the family are all very pleased with the care and attention he receives. Nothing is too much trouble and recently the staff hosted a superb party for his 103rd birthday which all his family attended. I would recommend Middletown Grange, without hesitation, to anyone looking for care for a loved one.
Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback. We are so pleased that he has settled well into life here at Middletown Grange, and we loved seeing the celebrations for the big birthday last week.
I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff who made a wonderful birthday celebration lunch (April 21st) for my uncle who resides at Barchester Middletown Grange Care Home. We celebrated with him (all fourteen of us!) with a yummy birthday lunch, complete with a birthday cake too made by your dedicated staff, you made him and the family feel so special. Thank you so much for all your hard work and special touches, he had and we all had a wonderful time celebrating with him. Thank you!
Thank you so much for your kind words, and we loved having everyone here to celebrate the day. It was great to see the smiles on all the faces, and we can't wait to welcome you all back again.
I know that Dad is happy there and takes part in lots of activities arranged; he is well looked after and has settled in which is a big relief for us all.
Thank you, Heather, for your feedback and kind words; I know this will mean a lot to the team here at Middletown Grange. We are so pleased everyone had fun with the celebrations and look forward to having you all back again.
They look after my father and I don't have any complaints on his care. Since he has been moved from Banbury to Witney it's much easier for us to visit him. I am in there every other day and all the staff are very helpful in all they do.
Thank you for your review. We are glad that everything has worked out with the move and appreciate you taking the time to visit the home on a regular basis.
The environment is always clean and neat. The residents and staff always seem happy. Middletown Grange is a great place to be. My friend is well looked after and he's happy living in the home. The staff are attentive and engaging.
Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback. The team really appreciates all the support and is glad that he has settled into life here at Middletown.
I can't believe the work that goes into providing activities of all sorts for the residents, it's truly amazing the things they do.
Thank you, Middletown Grange.
Thank you so much for your kind words and feedback. It's never easy when family are not local but we are glad that you feel reassured and look forward to you visiting us again soon.
A close, elderly friend of mine was admitted to Barchester Middletown Grange Care Home as a weekend emergency. The compassion to this difficult situation was absolutely incredible, the experience was so supportive and non-judgmental, it made the whole process extremely pleasant. Because of this, the husband decided to follow three days later as a private respite client. The welcoming experience, the care given, the food, cleanliness and friendliness of all of the staff were an absolute pleasure to be a part of. I would not hesitate to recommend Middletown Grange for either short or long-term care. The compassion, dignity and respect for everyone, whether that be clients, their family, the staff and visitors, is an overwhelming, pleasurable experience.
That is really wonderful to hear and we will continue striving to provide you with a very premium service!
Well, what can I say? This wonderful care home is absolutely amazing. Since our mum arrived at Middletown Grange (moved from a different care home) she looks 10 years younger. All the staff are so good, reassuring, approachable, happy, and helpful. I always look forward to visiting without any anxiety, which we experienced at the previous home. The rapport we have with the care home manager is second to none. Thank you to you all!
That is really wonderful to hear and we will continue striving to provide you with a very Premium Service!
The staff are charismatic and caring and, in my personal opinion, should have a pay rise! They also love my grandad which is nice to see.
Thank you very much for your kind words and we value your feedback.
The new manager, with abundant empathy, always made the time for me to chat, share concerns and quickly resolved them, when necessary. Mum was awaiting NHS physio and was still poorly.
I made a monthly 200-mile round trip, was met with on-tap coffee, homemade cake and invited to dine with Mum and other residents in the dining room.
During the last two and a half weeks of her life, I stayed 6 hours a day, this was the most difficult stage of Mum's care.
Staff went over and above for Mum, especially those last days, they had endless patience, 07.00 start, kitchen insisted on porridge/tea and lunch welcome (8-hour NHS wait, four days before Mum died) even mending an ornament Mum broke, she was in hospital.
Lastly, a change to medication, the manager's intervention enabled Mum, in a wheelchair, granddaughter and son (5) and me to enjoy balloon catch in the garden - a great memory.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It has been an absolute pleasure to be able to look after your mum.
I found the staff and facilities were excellent, they welcomed me with cupcakes and tea and made me feel like part of the home. My mum is very comfortable and could not wish for anything else, she is 91 with dementia and relies on the staff for everything. I always feel assured that she is in the best hands when I leave.
Thank you very much for your kind words. We are happy with your review and this definitely puts a smile on everyone in the team.
My husband recently passed away and I am glad he was at Middletown Grange. He was always treated with dignity and kindness as was I when I visited. My husband had a sweet tooth and especially enjoyed the puddings and cake in the afternoon. The people who work there are special, they work hard and are always polite and friendly. My grateful thanks to them all.
Thank you very much for your kind words Janet. It was a privilege for us to look after your husband.
The wife has only been in three days but she is happy here. The carers are all very nice and helpful.
Thank you very much for your kind words. It was a privilege for us to look after your wife for the short period she was with us.
My very dear friend is very well looked after. She is happy and the staff are very kind and attentive. Her room and bathroom are spotless. I have no worries about leaving my friend in the care of Middletown Grange.
We are happy you have found that your friend was happy in our care.
Have been coming here for the past year with my brother-in-law for respite care, now on our 4th stay. The reason we come back is every occasion we have been, everyone has been so friendly and helpful. From the initial assessment until the end of the short stays. It is difficult to find good respite but here they guaranteed a room and all the facilities needed for my brother-in-law's care needs. His needs have changed each visit, each time, the care they provided changed to fit. Communication is excellent between staff and management. Each time I have spoken directly to the manager, they have provided everything that was asked for. I have no hesitation in giving this rating as the care, surroundings, facilities etc are exactly what we have asked for.
Hello Reg. Thank you very much for your kind words. It is a privilege for us to look after your brother-in-law.
My aunt has lived a happy, comfortable and settled life at Middletown Grange Care Home during her 9 years as a resident. The staff have consistently shown warmth, affection and respect towards her and I have always been reassured that she was well cared for to a high standard by committed and hardworking staff. She was bedbound but never lonely as staff had imaginative ideas to keep her occupied e.g. an animatronic pet cat and visits from real animals. She passed away on 03/01/23. My sincere thanks to the amazing staff at Middletown Grange.
Thank you very much for your kind words Sarah. It was a privilege for us to look after your aunt.
From our very first visit to this care home, we knew it was the right place for our mother to be. There is a lovely atmosphere and a relaxed, calm yet attentive feel, it is spacious with good outdoor gardens, that aren't just for show. The one enduring point about this home, is, without a doubt, the outstanding team of people that work here, from the reception team to the manager. The care is always exceptional. It is rare to experience a level of commitment and professionalism throughout every team member, every time we visit or speak on the phone. I have no doubt my mother is in the best place and being looked after by the best people.
Thank you very much for your kind words David. It is a privilege for us to look after your mother.
My father was transferred to Middletown Grange Care Home. As a family, we were very relieved that he was safe and cared for. Obviously he was very confused in the beginning but after four weeks in their care he has settled in well. Dad enjoys the meals very much. He seems happy and content which gives us a family peace of mind. Staff, management and admin are all very friendly and caring.
Thank you very much for your kind words. We are delighted with your review and this definitely puts a smile on everyone in the team.
I am really pleased with the standard of care my parents receive at Middletown Grange. It was recently my mum's birthday and they had made a cake, staff came and sang happy birthday before sharing it with other residents. What is noticeable is the consistent nursing care which enables medications to be adjusted and problems de-escalated whereas if they were still at home they would be having difficulty communicating with the GP surgery and calling out medics on a frequent basis. It is a relief that they are not dependent on stretched NHS resources, and have 24-hour care.
Thank you for your kind words and your appreciation for the hardworking team who look after your parents, here in Middletown Grange Care Home. We were pleased to be able to celebrate your mother's birthday with you.
