Although my husband was nearing the end of his life and became very depressed, he still was able to enjoy the benefit of a wonderful caring staff. Having a lovely room with a fantastic view of the garden and watching the television.

My mother has been a resident of Middletown Grange for over a year now and her move there has been an unqualified success. We searched thoroughly before deciding on this residential home and chose it because of the obvious care attention and kindness that was offered together with nice facilities.
Staff have never been anything but attentive and kind to my mother. She enjoys the food very much and in the earlier days of her stay enjoyed participating in the amazing range of activities that were on offer. Sadly she is only able to watch now but nevertheless, it provides interest and stimulation. The nursing ethos is strong and the nursing team seem well coordinated and on top of things. They have a close relationship with a local GP practice who are called in good time if there is a need.
During lockdown, the pod facility in the garden was a great blessing.

The first time I visited Middletown Grange looking for a place for Mum, who needed nursing care - after visiting many others, I was so impressed straight away with the facilities, the gardens and knowledge, kindness and respect the staff showed to each resident. I knew she would be able to still have
a life and not just live there. Five years on, I cannot thank everyone enough for the support, time and attention she was given. I would not hesitate to recommend Middletown Grange.

My mother was resident in this home for four years until her death earlier this month. The whole environment was geared up to give care to the residents. When she first arrived she was greeted by all staff, from the receptionist to carers to cook in such a friendly way, she immediately felt 'at home'.
We could not have asked for more for her last years. We are just very grateful that we chose Middletown, and we would thank all staff for their care and attention and their professionalism at all times, day and night.

The care home were able to accommodate my husband at short notice. He received exceptional care whilst here, and unexpectedly, his own abilities deteriorated yet his care was never compromised. The nurses gave their valuable time to his needs and he was extremely well looked after throughout his stay,
including supporting him and the family when he became unwell and subsequently peacefully passed away. Huge thank you to the care home manager and the team.

Mother went in for 2 weeks respite following a knee replacement. She was fed, watered and cared for with sympathy and understanding. She is quite a difficult patient and was suffering from depression but was treated well.

My mum needed more help than we could provide at home following a major operation and spent almost 3 weeks at Middletown Grange to convalesce.
The whole experience was brilliant, from the very first phone call/email contact, and all through her stay. Despite not being able to visit much due to lockdown
restrictions, it was such a relief to know that she was getting the absolute best care and support possible, along with all the comforts of home.
I can't praise the team enough, they were all friendly, helpful, kind and caring and took the time and trouble to get to know my mum - nothing was too much trouble and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Each time I have visited I have had a very warm welcome and I have been very impressed by the caring staff, beautiful surroundings, and cleanliness. I feel if I ever needed care then this is the place I would like to be. Before lockdown, I felt there was a good mix of things to do and entertainment,
which is so important. Also, being able to enjoy the garden is essential.

From the moment we walked into the home and met with the staff we were put at ease and reassured that our mother would have a lovely time here. The home has beautiful gardens and modern decor with all the facilities you would need. The staff cared for Mum as if she was their own.
