Each time I have visited I have had a very warm welcome and I have been very impressed by the caring staff, beautiful surroundings, and cleanliness. I feel if I ever needed care then this is the place I would like to be. Before lockdown, I felt there was a good mix of things to do and entertainment, which is so important. Also, being able to enjoy the garden is essential.
From the moment we walked into the home and met with the staff we were put at ease and reassured that our mother would have a lovely time here. The home has beautiful gardens and modern decor with all the facilities you would need. The staff cared for Mum as if she was their own.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It has been an absolute pleasure to be able to look after your mum.
My wife has received care and attention in every respect. I know she is safe and she greets me and our dog with a smile on her face. Thank you.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, I'll be sure to pass it on to the rest of the team.
My mum has been in here for 3 weeks. She is very happy with all staff and has made new friends. Her room is very nice and clean and the food is really good. She is very glad she came here as she is no longer alone and feels safe.
Thank you for your lovely review, it is much appreciated. It's a pleasure having your mum here, she has settled so well. I'll be sure to pass on your positive feedback to the rest of the team.
My grandfather has become very settled quickly at Middletown Grange. The staff have created strong bonds with my grandad and this is displayed during my visits. The setting is always calm, clean and full of space, the gardens are particularly spacious and beautiful. I am ringing a lot to check on my grandfather and staff are extremely helpful and attentive.
Thank you so much for your lovely words. Your Grandad really has settled well and has made new friends. We look forward to seeing you again soon.
Very happy with the care my sister receives also very helpful if you need any information. She is very happy there and always seems to be smiling.
Thank you for your kind review. I will ensure that your kind comments are shared with the team.
Care continues to be excellent through COVID-19, following ongoing good care prior to that. My mum is well and through skype call and booked visits we have been able to keep in touch.
Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Your comments are much appreciated by all the staff.
The home has managed Covid-19 extremely well. We have been kept up to date and all the staff have coped really well. The skype calls were fantastic, my mum didn't really understand them but it was lovely to see her face. We have started visiting outside only which is lovely. I can phone anytime for an update which is lovely.
Thank you for your kind review. We're lucky to be so well supported by the families and loved ones of our residents.
I don’t need to think about my mother beyond just thinking about her; I’m confident that her domestic situation is as good as can be.
Middletown Grange accepted my mother for respite after she broke her ankle at the start of Coronavirus lockdown. The care that she has received, in very difficult circumstances, has been excellent. They have been very efficient in organising her visits to hospital for check-up and an additional operation, and have looked after Mum very well in the post-operation phase. Although I have not been able to visit, it seems a loving and caring environment where Mum has been very happy.
Mum is always clean, tidy and happy being at the home; she feels safe. During these difficult time's with the Corona Virus, the home gets my mother to video call us, which is great, we miss seeing her, this is the next best thing. We know my mother is kept safe and well, and she feels safe, and that is priceless for us.
I have always found the staff to be compassionate, caring and willing to engage even in these difficult times. Nothing is ever to much trouble. Long may they continue to provide the high level of exceptional care.
The communication from the care home manager and the group during this crisis has been informative and detailed.
So glad we chose this care home for Mum.
Many thanks,
Claire.
We have the highest praise for all the team at Middletown Grange. Since our mum went to live there a few months ago everyone has shown endless patience and care to ensure she has settled in and feels at home. Our mum has dementia so we were very worried as to how she would accept her new environment but because of the efforts and kindness of all the staff there we know she is in the right place, safe and extremely well cared for. Each resident is treated as an individual with their own specific likes/dislikes taken into account. The staff really take the time to get to know the residents. In these challenging times, the staff have kept us completely up to date and have sat with mum holding her hand and with an arm round her shoulder, made it possible for us to remain in contact via video call. We cannot praise all of the staff enough and feel very grateful indeed that our mum is in such a friendly and happy environment. Thank you everyone.
Thank you very much for your kind review. I ensure all feedback is passed onto the team, it's always greatly appreciated. It's a pleasure to be able to look after your mum, she is a much-loved member of our 'Middletown Family'.
The home also celebrated VE day with residents again having a celebration tea party in the garden reminiscing about what happened on VE day. All the staff really have worked incredibly hard to keep this virus at bay and we cannot thank you enough. Please stay safe everyone at Middletown, we miss you all very much and look forward to seeing you again soon.
Kind regards,
Claire.
I can not praise the manager and her staff enough for looking after my dad since he's been at Middletown. Especially since Covid 19 has been about. It is lovely to know that the care that dad has received has kept him nice and safe with NO symptoms. This is astonishing in the Care Home industry. Well done guys and hope to see you soon.
Stay safe, kind regards,
Claire.
My father-in-law is well cared for, the staff are fantastic and look after all the residents with proper care. We love the way the staff treat the residents. The staff worked really hard on keeping the place running. Well done to the team and remember to stay safe.
Thank you very much for your kind review. I ensure all feedback is passed onto the team, it's always greatly appreciated.
There is a very high standard of care and support at the Middletown Grange nursing home. Mum is comfortable, safe and well cared for, with all her needs being met. The staff are very friendly, caring, patient, they also spend time and conversation with Mum. The food and drinks are plentiful and delicious. Daily activities are well organised, stimulating and importantly lots of fun too. The manager has a ‘my door is always open’ policy which is so reassuring when we live some distance from the home. All in all, an exceptionally well-run care home.
Hello Val, Thank you for your lovely review. It's very much appreciated. The staff are always encouraged when they hear such positive feedback. I'll be sure to share it with the whole team.
I was made welcome from the start. My room was on the corner of the building and had windows on two sides, which enabled me to see the garden and also out onto the road. I elected to take my meals in the small dining room, which meant that I got to know the other users and the staff quite quickly and I found it surprising that a number of the residents chose to have all meals in their room. The entertainments and outings were varied and enjoyable and the large lounge was the most pleasant place to sit.
Hello, Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. The feedback is always welcome. It was a pleasure having you stay here with us. You're always welcome to come and visit us. Hope to see you soon.
This was my first experience of a care home and I would be happy to return here if I need care again. My two weeks of respite care here were comfortable and the staff were very caring and friendly. The manager and activities co-ordinator were marvellous.
Thank you for your review. It was a pleasure to have you here. You're always welcome back, even if you'd like to pop in and have a cup of tea and help us with the crosswords.
