After the initial shock of a parent having to go into a nursing home, we found on arrival we were greeted by management and put at ease straight away. All carers were professional and a few went beyond their duties to make mum feel comfortable. She was always treated with dignity. Thank you.

My impression is that the home is a little cramped for space. I hope I am wrong but feel that there is scope for more activities for the residents. The home always appears clean, well staffed and well kept. The staff are friendly and welcoming and that is the main thing!

I love being here. I will miss this care home. I have been here for 4 weeks. If I had a choice I would come back here.

I am moving to a house. I will miss the residents, carers and the lady is a very good cook. I will give Banbury Heights 100 out of 100.

My father was moved to Banbury Heights care home on 6th August 2018. Sadly he passed away on 12th September 2018. This is an excellent care home. The staff were caring and made his last weeks comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful to me in his last couple of days. This is an excellent setting for a home from home placement. Just wish I had moved him there years ago. He would have loved the home and the staff. My father had advanced dementia.

After a shaky couple of hours on admission, due to a mix up in hospital, the nursing staff were extremely reassuring and demonstrated real comfort towards myself and my mum.
She has had exemplary care since her arrival and after three weeks is still really happy with the way she has been cared for.

The dignity and kindness shown is obvious from my daily visits. Although she is looking forward to returning home, I think she will be sad to leave!

The staff have been wonderful to my mother, very kind and caring. They were very considerate, compassionate and sympathetic to all of us during her last few days.

Reply from Charles Taylor, Manager at Banbury Heights Nursing Home

Dear Mrs C,

Thank you for your feedback and we are extremely glad that you found the staff caring and attentive. We have noticed that you listed the rooms as poor in your review and we will look to redecorate the room that your mother was in to improve this.

My mother spent the last two months of her life at Banbury Heights Nursing Home. The whole staff were professional, compassionate, patient and kind. They took great care of my mum and provided exactly the right level of care. Their communication with me was excellent. I would unequivocally recommend Banbury Heights Nursing Home to any family in the same situation.

My mother went to stay for a short time with a terminal illness, she liked her carer and was treated with dignity and respect. The staff are very friendly, made you feel welcome, very dedicated and willing to help. They made her stay and ours as pleasant as it could be.

Dad spent a couple of weeks at Banbury Heights and from what I saw of the home it was truly exceptional. Staff were excellent, food was very good and the place itself was exceptional. Given the horror stories one hears about residential homes, this place was without doubt exceptional.

To everyone here,

I have been very welcomed here and have been cared by everyone who have been so kind to me all the weeks I have been here.

Nothing but kindness every day I've been here. I hope that everyone knows how I feel about the kindness I have had every day.

Very knowledgeable Nursing staff that lead the overall staff team well. Ensuring that all staff are attentive and respectful to residents. Personally, it was nice for my Dad to have male staff on duty too. The home also has a brilliant 'activities' team, organising some truly memorable days and events that the whole family are invited to.

THANK YOU for all you did!!
