Banbury Heights is a family-run nursing home that has been providing high-quality, person-centred care to the residents of Banbury since 2003.

At Banbury Heights, each resident has a tailored care plan developed by the nursing home’s team, together with the resident and their family.

Everybody’s needs are different so their care should be too – recognising this at all times is the key to their ethos of work at Banbury Heights.

My mother has been in this care home for quite a few weeks. She is sadly leaving this week to go to a residential home in the town my mother and father live, we are going to miss this home so much and wish we could keep Mum there as the staff are so lovely, caring and very welcoming but it’s better
for all the family to get mum in her own town. We would like to take this opportunity and I’m speaking for my father as well, to thank you all so much for taking such good care of my mum. We are going to miss you all and I know mum will as well, bless her! Such a big thank you from all my family.

After a ten day stay in hospital, I went to a hub-bed for rehabilitation. At first, I found it difficult but soon settled in with the help of staff and permanent residents. I enjoyed the quizzes and the singing hut also appreciated being able to go back to my own room if I wanted to be quiet or chat
to some of my visitors.

My husband spent the last two months of his life here and was well looked after by both carers and nursing staff, who were friendly and kind. There was a family atmosphere and I was always warmly welcomed by all staff when visiting. I am glad my husband was able to spend his final days here rather than
in hospital.

We found Banbury Heights to be a warm, homely, friendly and kind environment. All the staff were lovely and my mother-in-law was very well cared for.
Nothing was too much trouble and we felt all staff listened to our concerns and requests very well.
I believe the staff way outshone the actual building
which is very tired and dated, but then my mother-in-law wasn't looking at the decor!! Our experience, our first for all of us, was as good and positive as it possibly could be thanks to all.

Right from arrival and during my stay, all staff showed a very open and very caring attitude. Much different to my previous experience.
You were made to feel you were part of a large family and no request was too much trouble. This goes for management down to cleaners.
I was impressed by the efforts
to bring entertainment in just before Christmas.
I rate the staff as highly motivated and professional.

After the initial shock of a parent having to go into a nursing home, we found on arrival we were greeted by management and put at ease straight away. All carers were professional and a few went beyond their duties to make mum feel comfortable. She was always treated with dignity. Thank you.

My impression is that the home is a little cramped for space. I hope I am wrong but feel that there is scope for more activities for the residents. The home always appears clean, well staffed and well kept. The staff are friendly and welcoming and that is the main thing!

I love being here. I will miss this care home. I have been here for 4 weeks. If I had a choice I would come back here.

My father was moved to Banbury Heights care home on 6th August 2018. Sadly he passed away on 12th September 2018. This is an excellent care home. The staff were caring and made his last weeks comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful to me in his last couple of days. This is an excellent setting
for a home from home placement. Just wish I had moved him there years ago. He would have loved the home and the staff. My father had advanced dementia.

After a shaky couple of hours on admission, due to a mix up in hospital, the nursing staff were extremely reassuring and demonstrated real comfort towards myself and my mum.
She has had exemplary care since her arrival and after three weeks is still really happy with the way she has been cared for.
The
dignity and kindness shown is obvious from my daily visits. Although she is looking forward to returning home, I think she will be sad to leave!
