Since my dad has been in the nursing home, we have seen nothing but kind, compassionate and caring staff. On a day when we was able to ask us questions, he said he was going to be happy here. We feel that he is very settled here and feel that he will be cared for as we would care for him. Thank you.

Well run and managed. Staff present a caring and loving atmosphere home kept in clean condition.
At wifes passing earlier this year special attention given to relatives was excellent.

I have found the management and the staff of Banbury Heights so helpful and refreshingly human.
All of the staff really seem to put authentic care into their work. The food is certainly to my mum's liking and the staff are finding their ways around her quirks and in doing so, making life easier for
all involved.
Win, win, the place may not look the best, but I'd take the human aspect over fake florals any day.
Thanks to you all.

My mum received end of life care at Banbury Heights Nursing Home. The way she was cared for couldn't have been better and she was kept comfortable throughout. I can also say the same for how we as family were treated. As we stayed day and night we were shown extraordinary care as if from family with
endless cups of tea, meals and biscuits.
The manager and lead nurse deserve a special mention as do the two carers who worked Tuesday to Thursday nights who sat with me during the night and listened as I talked about mum. They were wonderful. All of the staff were great though and there were too many to give a special mention.
I want to add that the atmosphere both day and night was lovely. Although the day was somewhat noisy at times, at night it was peaceful and calm. The residents were treated with the same dignity and respect in the early hours. An especially big thank you to the night staff who looked after mum and I.

Mum was sent here a few weeks ago when she was discharged from Hospital. I can honestly say the care she received was exemplary. From managers to cleaners everybody cares.
If I was to end up in a nursing home for any reason I'd want to be sent here.
The food was excellent, over the last couple of
weeks the family spent a lot of time with mum and were always offered meals.
I know a lot of people grumble about nursing home charges but for me the quality of care was above and beyond what was paid.

I wanted to say how I see my uncle unwinding from the stresses and tensions he incurred in previous care home. I believe you have saved his life and brought him peace. The love sheared and the care given by staff is so effective in the health and well being of the residents. I am grateful that your
attention to detail and fast response has kept my uncle safe, with falls having been of great concern you have supported my uncle in his state. Outdoor activities - minibus to train station for tea and cake. Group activities, feeding the ducks.

Relinquishing sole responsibility for my dad's care was a huge step for me, and the transition has been made so much easier by the obvious care and attention given by everyone involved, at every level, to both of us.
Seeing dad being given the time and space to adjust and settle into his new surroundings
and routine is encouraging, and I feel my role slowly shifting from being his carer back to enjoying a relationship with him as a daughter again, which at this stage of his dementia journey is so precious. The range and scope of activities offered are also key to his mental and physical stimulation and will give him the fulfilment and enjoyment he deserves.

Our father arrived at the home for end of life care so he was only here for a week before he died, but in that short time, I was amazed at the level of care and response from the staff. We were made to feel so welcome when visiting and everyone was so friendly. My father was very ill but received the
best care they could provide for him whilst respecting his dignity and humanity. We were informed of any changes to his health and included in any pertinent care decisions where they thought it necessary. This made the last few days of his life so much easier. Other care homes should aspire to this. Thank you so much from me and my sister. You were brilliant!
Reply from Michael Morton, Business Project Manager at The Julie Richardson Nursing HomeThank you so much for your kind and heartfelt words. We're truly honoured to have been able to care for your father during such an important time. I would like to thank Esmere Gardens for being able to take my Father as an emergency admission after a fall and being discharged very quickly and at short notice from hospital. The care my Father received from Esmere Gardens staff was first class. He spent 10 days resting and recouping with all his
needs attended to including the many daily dressing changes. He enjoyed his stay at Esmere and described it as like being in a hotel. For myself and my family we knew he was in safe hands which was a huge relief. I would have no hesitation in recommending Esmere Gardens.

From the first meeting with management in October 24, we knew that Mum would be well looked after at Banbury Heights. They were both natural, genuine ladies who put us at ease about putting mum in a care home. Since Mum has been there, we have noticed how happy she seems in her own world. She's well
looked after and always clean & tidy. When she's been ill, she has received the best of care, both timely & efficiently.
