The use of Myo (or equivalent is vital for a family of a resident).
The back office requires a little modernisation.
I have an issue with the Direct Debit process.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is our pleasure to care for your loved one. We have noted the above points and we will communicate with the back office.
Since being at the care home my mother has made friends with the other people in the care home.
I am happy that she is in a safe environment and all her needs are being met.
Thank you for your kind feedback, we are very happy that your mother has made friends and settled in at Coxwell. I am happy to hear you feel that your mother is receiving the best care for her.
Whenever she has a fall or anything I am informed and advised of the circumstances and what action if any is taken. The use of the health program is very useful and my mother seems to enjoy participating in the many programs and events.
She certainly appears to be well cared for in very difficult circumstances and treated with dignity.
Thank you for your very kind words and feedback. We are very happy that you are happy with the care your mother is receiving at Coxwell.
My sister was at Coxwell Hall for 5 months it was only a short time but my sister's needs were met completely by excellent staff who cared with such compassion for my sister and me.
Thank you for your kind words. We are truly sorry for your loss. It was a pleasure looking after your sister.
Coxwell is a lovely, friendly home with really caring staff. I am confident that my mother is happy and in great hands. The home renovations have massively improved the look and feel of the home.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is our pleasure caring for your mum and having you all as a part of our big Coxwell family. Thank you for appreciating the renovation work being done in Coxwell and for bearing with us through the process.
They go out of their way to try to coax her to eat more. This has been successful as Mum has actually put on weight.
They also try very hard to get Mum to participate in the activities and to leave her room, which is an uphill struggle, but they keep trying!
Kind Regards.
My mother has been in Coxwell for seven years. The staff have shown nothing but care and genuine love towards my mother. I feel very blessed that my mum's passing two weeks ago was handled with so much dignity and compassion. I can't thank the staff who were caring for my mum whilst she passed away for going above and beyond their job roles, and I will never ever be able to thank you enough, and I will never forget this. Thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
Kind regards.
The staff really seem to care and treat residents with a lot of respect. Dealing with dementia isn’t easy, but everyone I have dealt with seems well-trained and considerate. There appears to be good continuity of staff. The result is that Mum seems well-settled and generally happy at Coxwell Hall.
Thank you for such a nice review; it is our pleasure having her as a part of the Coxwell family. Kind regards.
My husband was here for 2 weeks of respite, the care he received was really good, he settled down well and was happy but sadly the home was a long way for me to go to visit but I would recommend this place to anyone.
Thank you for your lovely review, it was our pleasure caring for your husband. We wish you all the best. If you ever need us, we are here.
My husband has been living at Coxwell for 10 months, the staff throughout the home are supportive, extremely kind and deal with what is a hugely difficult job with care and humour. We will frequently be laughing with the residents which can only be a good thing. My husband has settled in well and I love getting pictures and comments about his daily activities on the family app. Christmas was an unexpected joy with the staff dressed up as Santa and the elves. Well done and huge thanks.
Thank you for your lovely review and your appreciation of the lovely work done in Coxwell. It is our pleasure looking after your husband and having you as a part of our big Coxwell family.
Their cheerfulness and kindness were extended to the family as well.
Thank you all so very much.
I wish you all the best and much love to you and your family.
Thank you and season greetings to every member of staff.
Thank you Phil for your lovely comment and for attending Relatives meeting and Christmas Party. I am glad you appreciate the enhancement programme going on at present. It is our pleasure to care for your loved one and to have you as a part of our Coxwell Family. Seasonal greetings to you too.
Since Mum moved from another care home to Coxwell Hall, it is noticeable how much happier she is. Every time I visit, the staff are all very friendly and extremely helpful. The level of care and compassion is to be highly commended.
Thank you for your lovely review. It is a pleasure looking after your mum and having you as a part of the Coxwell family.
The staff seem very kind and attentive to the patients. Their needs seem to be met. The home is being refurbished/painted and I think that will definitely improve the look - as it was looking tired. However, the most important thing is the care - not palatial surroundings. Pleased with the home.
Thank you for your kind words. It is our pleasure looking after your friend. I am glad you appreciate the refurbishment taking place and for sure this will improve the looks.
As always, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Whilst Coxwell Hall looks a bit tired in places, it's more than made up for by the obvious care that the staff provide to the residents.
Thank you so much for your kind words, it is our pleasure looking after your loved one.
We have the utmost respect for all at Coxwell Hall. We are always treated with kindness and respect and my brother is well cared for and clean. Thank you all so much.
Thank you so much Anne for your kind words, it is a pleasure looking after your brother and having you all as a part of the Coxwell family.
The employees and management go above and beyond, not only for patients, but for family members as well. Lots of fun days, which also family members are included in. Family members are also kept up to date with information regarding Mum. Best place for my mum to be. We feel like one big family.
Thank you so much for such a lovely review, it is our pleasure caring for your mum and supporting you all through this journey. We pride ourselves for being a family and I am glad you all are and feel a part of it.
Staff are very attentive to resident's needs. Activities are very good to keep residents stimulated. Dad has been here just over a year and he appears to be happy and settled. It's good to see him smile when he is getting involved in activities.
Thank you very much for your lovely review, we are happy to know you appreciate the high standard of personal-centred care we provide at Coxwell. It is a joy to have your dad as a part of our Coxwell family.
Staff are friendly, and always welcoming.
Thank you very much for your lovely review. It is our pleasure looking after your mum and having you as a part of Coxwell family.
I have been here now for one year, my only gripe is the food, i.e. I have had one Brussel sprout and some lettuce but no cabbage or other green stuff. Just daily red cabbage and green broccoli flower heads, no leaves, and the meat, be it lamb, pork or beef, is overcooked and looks and tastes the same, and not enough fruit which I miss as I had a large garden full of fruit and veg. When I first came there were too many carers whose knowledge of English was abysmal. Most carers now speak English well enough.
Thank you for your review and we are glad you are happy with the care we provide, it is our pleasure looking after you, we will work with you to ensure the menu is to your liking.

Home Manager Zippy Magana qualified as a nurse in 2000, gaining much of her experience in hospitals, care homes and within the community, bringing versatility and knowledge from many settings.
During her 8-year tenure at Coxwell Hall prior to her return in 2023, Zippy headed up the project ‘Like a Butterfly’ the results of which set out much of the practice adopted today. The energy, knowledge and professionalism she injects not only enhances the quality of life for residents, but it is also instrumental in motivating the team, who reflect her dedication, passion and commitment to delivering the highest quality care.
If you can’t find Zippy at Coxwell, then she may be swimming or socialising in the community. She also loves a good read, and if she ever gets to escape, then it’s off travelling to somewhere hot.
