I cannot praise the staff at The Triangle highly enough as you won't find a more dedicated and helpful team anywhere else. We looked at a number of very different care homes when selecting a care home for my mother and this one stood out immediately as being the most welcoming and genuinely caring about the comfort and wellbeing of their residents. It's not about having a posh building, scenic views or having snazzy facilities - it's about the care team and their approach to the care of the residents. We looked at some seriously high end care homes and were shocked to notice staff members scrolling on their phones in the lounge areas when they were meant to be supervising residents and a serious lack of one-to-one care. The Triangle is the complete opposite and being a smaller home it's such a friendly environment where residents are treated like family. My mother seems to have settled in well there and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.

My husband was cared for in the Triangle Care Home for 4 months before his death at the end of April. I have nothing but admiration for the staff who treated him with compassion respect good humour and dignity. He had to best possible care in a friendly and homely environment. I could not wish for better end to his happy life.

Despite outside appearances this home is caring, empathetic and friendly. The staff gave excellent care, my husband always looked as I would want to. My thanks also to kitchen staff for giving him his favourite foods, the housekeeping staff and the laundry ladies who always asked after him, and the office staff for their kindness, The Triangle feels like a family.

A lovely care home , not just physically warm but emotionally warm too
I love visiting and seeing that my Uncle and other residents look happy and well cared for

The staff are friendly and they also welcome my dog . Rosie my dog loves coming to the care home and meeting the staff and residents and eating a biscuit or two and having a fuss made of her .

My mother has been in the home now for just over 1 month. She has settled in well. The staff are very professional and welcoming. It is a small care home, which gives it a more cosy feel. The management team seems to really care for the residents and the staff. They are very accommodating and will enable me to organise a birthday celebration for my mother.

Our Neighbour has need in the triangle for 2 years now suffering with dementia. The care and support that she received was second to none. The staff treated her like a family member . They not only care about her but the kindness and compassion to us was marvellous. The care home has just been taken over by a company and the communication between the new company was great they have kept us informed on all the changes and what a lovely job they have done to. Right to the very end our Neighbour was cared for with love and dignity. A BIG thankyou to all the staff from the top brass to the cleaners you have all made our visits delightful and friendly. We will miss you all. Xxx

My mum has been a Triangle resident since 2017. The care has always been satisfactory but the home has always had a 'tired lok' since the manager took over as manager plus the acquisition by the group, there has been a very welcome improvement in both the fabric of the building and the general running of the home.

I moved into the Triangleon the 19th July 2025 for two weeks respite after hip operation. I have found the care for me to be excellent. All aspects were food with the staff encouraging me to get up and walk go down to the diving room for lunch, ok they also made sure I received my medicines daily and giving me meals in my room. More than once a day the staff would call in to see if I was ok etc. I had a couple of incidents which they dealt will incredibly well. I needed to be somewhere where I did not have to worry about meals and someone to talk to and I can say that The Triangle provided that.

The staff at the Triangle Home have been very caring of my sister, and have organised the NHS to come in and administer 'hydration' and medication. They keep her room clean and tidy, as well as tending to my sister's needs. My sister isn't very interested in food and drink, but they try to get nutrition into her - and very generously bring me and visitors cups of tea.

I visited my mum in 2023 and came back now in June 2025 as my mum passed. My mother was very well cared for her 2-3 years at the triangle. The staff were all wonderful and showed much compassion while trying to make each day special. We were all treated very well when visiting, always tea, coffee, cakes and biscuits. I would highly recommend this care home. Grateful that my mum was there.

My wife has now 3 1/2 years in The Triangle, following a degree of dementia, and stroke. The change of ownership of the home has just taken place: the transition appears to have been very smooth and a full refurbishment is being carried out remarkably quietly. There has been no break in the care, cheerfulness and affection in which my wife is looked after by carers, household and management alike. The food remains good and cleanliness of the rooms is well attended to. The arrangement by which a GP attends weekly lends confidence. The single most marked deficiency in my view is the absence of a built-in arrangement for physiotherapy for all residents - which it would be good to see Gold Care consider in their strategy for the coming years.

I finished my career with the United Nations and so welcome that fact that, as most care homes, the staff are largely from other countries. One hopes that the new government measure to reduce immigration will not have an adverse effect on The Triangle and it's employees; and that, as the economy improves, the social welfare sector as a whole will be better resourced.

I chose this Home for my Mother, as it is close to where we live and we would be able visit her regularly, despite being aware that it 'required improvement'. However the Regional Manager convinced me that it would be improved, with a refurbishment programme already in place, and the recruitment of experienced staff. However this did not happen whilst my Mother was a resident, as there was no Activities Co-Ordinator or Maintenance Staff recruited, so very few activities took place, and no refurbishment happened.
The Nursing Staff, and a few of the Carers that looked after my Mother were caring, helpful, and attended to her needs well. However with other Carers there was very little interaction, and a lack of attention to detail with regard to her personal comfort and needs. I had regular meetings with the Manager to review her Care Plan, however agreed improvements were rarely implemented.

The food was varied and generally looked appetising. I would not recommend The Triangle Care Home

What can I say? Excellent. The staff are the most important part to me, not the fact it's new. The care of my mother was excellent at Triangle. All staff showed her dignity and care as if looking after their own mother. The nurses, carers, cleaners and laundry were excellent. They are all professional, hardworking and caring, including the office and management, being efficient and supportive. The only negative I can find is chipped paint and carpets needing replacing but with resources going on residents' care that is more important to me.
