Triangle Care Home

We really can’t thank them enough.

My mother has been a resident at the Triangle Care Home for eight years. She has always appeared well cared for and her medication requirements have been thoroughly monitored and administered. The staff have continually shown patience, kindness and compassion when attending to her needs. I have been particularly impressed with the professional ability of the Manager. She has always been very approachable and communicative, keeping me in touch with my mother's status. I have received regular updates during the Covid-19 pandemic which I have greatly appreciated and can only say how very grateful I am at the dedication and effort all the staff have displayed during this time.

My brother spent his last days here. He was treated with kindness and always supported in dignity. A quiet and welcoming space. It offered a homely welcome and an unobtrusive but professional level of care. Thank you.

Very homely, a lot of love shown by all the staff, it is lovely that I am confident that my mum is well looked after and treated so well. Mum's mood has improved so much and seeing her smile again means the world to us as her family. I would highly recommend this home.

All the staff from cleaners, chefs and carers and the activities lady are great.

Very friendly, caring home. Always clean and fresh. Residents are entertained by a friendly activity coordinator who goes the extra mile for the residents, arranges trips out and even takes bus trips with "one to one" treats. Carers are very attentive, spends time chatting with residents and are never too busy for a chat (even though they are really). The manager is very hands-on, making sure the home is well run. She has even been known to pop to the local shop for treats to tempt residents with no appetite.

There is a lot of sadness in this home but the dedicated staff make it a happy and safe place. The bed is uncomfortable and I would have liked a shower in my room.

Very helpful and supportive staff. Really open and welcoming. Share lunches with my father like sharing a restaurant meal. Very safe and caring environment lovely staff.

My mother was transferred from the hospital to the Triangle, Wheatley last June with multiple conditions associated with very old age. From the moment of arrival, my mother felt it was her home. She was safe and cared for and kept out of pain. Every member of staff talked to and contributed to my mother's happiness. The house was always quiet and happy, day and night. Recently my mother became very ill and was taken to the hospital. It was apparent she would not recover, she wished to go home to the Triangle. She was nursed to her last moments by the wonderful staff. I cannot thank them enough.

My father came to the care home just before Christmas with a broken arm, depression and self-neglect. He has been given fantastic care, three good meals a day (which he wanted to eat), physio and personal care. He is now a changed and happy person, walking, eating, clean and looking forward to going home, confident to now manage alone.

My mother was a resident of this home for 7 months. Her life was transformed from the social isolation of community-based care to having a life again, in a caring environment with consistent staff and excellent leadership. Nothing was too much for the carers. They treated the residents with dignity, respect, compassion, genuine caring attitudes and behaviours. The care and interest in the families of the resident was honest and transparent. Quick action when health needs changed. The social element of the home is good, the staff are well trained and this shows in their care of residents. Our mother wanted to return to the home from hospital to end her life which she did and had dignity at the end.

The manager and staff have welcomed my father into the Triangle Care Home in a warm, caring and compassionate manner. When visiting my father all the family are also given a warm friendly welcome. My father talks about the fantastic food and wonderful staff. We can be rest assured that he is safe and being tremendously well looked after in a homely and warm environment. Huge credit to the manager for an extremely well-run practice thank you.

I was worried because my 94-year-old Mother-in-Law had not previously liked being in a care home environment, still cherishing what remained of her fading independence, and there was to be a long wait for a care package.

What quickly struck me about The Triangle was that she became unexpectedly very happy.

I realised this was down to the wonderfully friendly attitude of the staff, epitomised by the Manager, who set an example which permeated the entire home.

All my reservations disappeared completely, and I witnessed my Mother-in-Law thoroughly enjoying her stay - something I never thought I would ever see.

The constant care and attention had made her totally relaxed, to the extent she actually stopped yearning for home, and would willingly have stayed.

Obviously, once a care package was arranged, my Mother-in-Law had to leave, but I have never forgotten the transformation The Triangle staff had brought to her state-of-mind, and for that, I will always be extremely grateful.

Would like to thank everyone at the care home for their care and compassion for my Nan's stay at the care home. She was very happy there. She used the words as soon as she went in this is just like home. That will always stick with me, as it such a hard decision putting a loved one into a care home. So a huge thank you to all the staff at Triangle!

My mum didn't want to go into a care home but when she found she couldn't look after herself anymore she decided to go to the Triangle and she loves it. She said it is like home from home.

My Nan seems very happy and settled. Very friendly and welcoming staff.

The staff and management at The Triangle were kind and caring and looked after my mother well during the weeks that she was a resident.

We are grateful for all that they did to ensure that her time with them was the best that it could be.

Friendly staff, very welcoming, good variation of food, caring staff and bright bedroom.

There is only one problem at Triangle. On one occasion I only managed to park when a householder allowed me to park on her driveway. There is a business park opposite Triangle - it has a very large car park and there always seemed to be empty places. Would it not be worthwhile to see if they would allow visitors to park there?

Staff kindly and helpful to residents. Staff are also helpful to relatives, keeping them up to date with residents' progress.
