Finally, we moved mum on 24 November 2022 with the support of social services. Please no one use this home. It is now under safeguarding and social service inspection. Please read the latest CQC which says that most areas need improvement including the safety of residents. This home should be closed
down.

We regret that The Triangle Care Home has fallen below the standards that we and the Care Quality Commission expect. We have implemented a comprehensive service improvement plan to address the areas noted in the report. Since the inspection in November, we have taken a number of steps to rectify the issues highlighted, including a review of resident care processes to ensure the needs of residents are better met. We are recruiting new team members to support residents in the home and have appointed a new Home Manager. Colleagues in the home are being supported by our regional team to be assured improvements are sustained. The safety and wellbeing of residents remain our first priority.

From the front door, it is unwelcoming, it is dated - in the lounge, it could do with a total makeover with new furniture instead of second-hand stuff which has been damaged by a cat in a previous life and food stains on them. The bedroom has an old wardrobe, the doors are broken, and I think it has
not seen a lick of paint since it was built. The management does not listen properly and tell you what they think you want to hear and do nothing about what you want. Personally, I think it should be shut down, it is not fit for purpose.

The Triangle is a happy, friendly environment where the staff are very kind and patient. Management is efficient and understanding. The food is good and varied. It is not a super-smart place with lots of rules and regulations. The atmosphere is kind and friendly. I warmly recommend the Triangle.

The restrictions due to the Covid pandemic has meant that we have been unable to see several aspects of the home; hence some of the options have not been assessed. However, staff at the Triangle have been excellent in trying to manage the situation in the best way possible for the benefit and safety
of the residents.

Our Mum and Dad were both residents at the Triangle for just under a year.
When they first arrived both our parents were given a very warm and friendly welcome as were we every time we visited them.
It's a hard decision putting your loved ones into a care home, but the staff at the Triangle were very
kind and considerate, making it a smooth transition.
So a big thank you to all the staff at the Triangle.

We are so pleased that our uncle is safe and happy here. The staff are so caring and yet full of fun, and my uncle enjoys their company and the food. It is such a relief to know he is in safe hands with people who care about him.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Triangle for over 6 years. My wife and I have always appreciated the amazing care that she receives at the Triangle.
Since covid restrictions stopped us for some time visiting, it always put our mind at ease knowing she was being so well cared for. The home
kept in constant contact with us, letting us know what mum had been doing and how she was.

My mother has been a resident at the Triangle Care Home for eight years. She has always appeared well cared for and her medication requirements have been thoroughly monitored and administered. The staff have continually shown patience, kindness and compassion when attending to her needs. I have been
particularly impressed with the professional ability of the Manager. She has always been very approachable and communicative, keeping me in touch with my mother's status. I have received regular updates during the Covid-19 pandemic which I have greatly appreciated and can only say how very grateful I am at the dedication and effort all the staff have displayed during this time.

Very homely, a lot of love shown by all the staff, it is lovely that I am confident that my mum is well looked after and treated so well. Mum's mood has improved so much and seeing her smile again means the world to us as her family. I would highly recommend this home.

This home is lovely. My mum has been here since 2014. My mother is very disabled, can't speak or walk after a stroke 20 years ago. The manager and her staff are great with her, so kind and I know they love my mum and she loves them. Nothing is too much trouble and when I leave her, I know she is in
safe hands. She will be 100 years old next year, so that can't be bad can it?
All the staff from cleaners, chefs and carers and the activities lady are great.

Very friendly, caring home. Always clean and fresh. Residents are entertained by a friendly activity coordinator who goes the extra mile for the residents, arranges trips out and even takes bus trips with "one to one" treats. Carers are very attentive, spends time chatting with residents and are never
too busy for a chat (even though they are really). The manager is very hands-on, making sure the home is well run. She has even been known to pop to the local shop for treats to tempt residents with no appetite.

There is a lot of sadness in this home but the dedicated staff make it a happy and safe place. The bed is uncomfortable and I would have liked a shower in my room.

My mother was transferred from the hospital to the Triangle, Wheatley last June with multiple conditions associated with very old age. From the moment of arrival, my mother felt it was her home. She was safe and cared for and kept out of pain. Every member of staff talked to and contributed to my mother's
happiness. The house was always quiet and happy, day and night. Recently my mother became very ill and was taken to the hospital. It was apparent she would not recover, she wished to go home to the Triangle. She was nursed to her last moments by the wonderful staff. I cannot thank them enough.

My father came to the care home just before Christmas with a broken arm, depression and self-neglect. He has been given fantastic care, three good meals a day (which he wanted to eat), physio and personal care. He is now a changed and happy person, walking, eating, clean and looking forward to going
home, confident to now manage alone.

My mother was a resident of this home for 7 months. Her life was transformed from the social isolation of community-based care to having a life again, in a caring environment with consistent staff and excellent leadership. Nothing was too much for the carers. They treated the residents with dignity,
respect, compassion, genuine caring attitudes and behaviours. The care and interest in the families of the resident was honest and transparent. Quick action when health needs changed. The social element of the home is good, the staff are well trained and this shows in their care of residents. Our mother wanted to return to the home from hospital to end her life which she did and had dignity at the end.

The manager and staff have welcomed my father into the Triangle Care Home in a warm, caring and compassionate manner. When visiting my father all the family are also given a warm friendly welcome. My father talks about the fantastic food and wonderful staff. We can be rest assured that he is safe and

With over a decade of experience, Robin has built a strong foundation in healthcare. Since moving to the UK in 2012 to begin his career as a nurse, he quickly progressed through various roles, becoming a Clinical Lead in 2015. Robin continued to advance in his career after moving to Andover to join the Brighterkind family and was promoted to Clinical Lead/Unit Manager in 2018. He then accepted the role of Deputy Manager at Hungerford Care Home, and now, he looks forward to bringing his skills and experience to lead the amazing team at Triangle Care Home.


In his spare time, Robin enjoys driving and spending quality time with his family, whom he considers his biggest achievement outside of work.


Robin is dedicated to ensuring that residents at Triangle Care Home feel comfortable, cared for, and safe every day. He believes that the key to quality care is empathy, kindness, and a commitment to going the extra mile for each resident.
