Ashley Park located near Guildford provides nursing, residential, palliative, Parkinson's and convalescence care. The home offers both long-term and short-stay care.

Residents can stay for a few weeks, a month or for however long their loved one needs support. They’ll get to relax and meet new friends, giving complete peace of mind. The home has a dedicated respite room that can be booked up to a year in advance, the staff is happy to accept last-minute requests too.

Originally a nineteenth-century listed building, the home has been expertly modernised to provide a range of excellent facilities. The large landscaped gardens with patio areas, orchard, raised flower beds and lawns can be enjoyed by residents alongside a sensory garden and greenhouse.

Most bedrooms have en-suite facilities, flat-screen TVs and most offer views of the gorgeous grounds, seven acres of stunning Surrey countryside.

Meals are freshly prepared every day by the home’s onsite chef and menus can be tailored to the tastes and preferences of each resident. Residents have the choice of dining in the dining room or in their own room if preferred.

A varied activity programme aims to find activities to suit all interests and levels of mobility. A painting club, poetry group and calm exercise classes and quizzes are just a few of the activities available.

Although the patient has had a stroke and is very elderly within her capacities she seems content. She is being well looked after and likes the room and the fact she can see out of the window.

There is always a welcome when we visit and the home has a friendly atmosphere. It is where we can relax with the person we came to see and the surrounding beautiful gardens are so beautifully looked after.

25th January 2018 my mother and I had a lovely time when we visited an old family friend who we last visited when my father was alive and mobile in the summer of 2015! After a long illness bravely borne Daddy passed away in February 2017 and we had not seen her for a long time. We were thrilled to find
her looking well cared for and able to remember who we were. The receptionist made us very welcome and despite the fact that new carpets were being fitted we were accommodated in the lounge on a new carpet and served a very welcome mug of tea with milk and one sugar. Thank you!

My 90-year-old mother came in for respite care after she fell over and could not walk. Several weeks later when she was back on her feet, she decided to stay permanently. She is so much happier, enjoys the company and it is a pleasure to visit.

The staff at Ashley Park always seem very friendly and efficient. There seems to be more continuity of staff than in other similar facilities, and when staff do leave, it is often for higher training and promotion.
The food seems excellent and home-cooked.
The house is lovely and residents are encouraged
to use the beautiful grounds in summer.

My mother appears happy and well cared for. Her room is clean, bright and warm. The carers I have met have been terrific, thoughtful, kind and gentle.
The house is old and awkward but seems to be well maintained.
I cannot comment on several aspects as I have no experience but there is a good atmosphere
and the staff are super.

I particularly like Ashley Park because it is a small home in beautiful grounds (well kept) I know most of the staff (permanent) and find them all very caring to my husband. I have already recommended it to a couple of friends for their relatives.

Ashley Park has been incredibly supportive of my mother since she first visited for respite in November last year and later from February when she returned as a permanent resident. My father has very recently passed away and the care and understanding shown to my mother by all staff has been exceptional.

My mother has been a resident of Ashley Park Care Home for seven and a half years. During that time, she has been consistently well cared for. Her needs are great as she is completely immobile and has no communication skills. The staff have been able to interpret her needs and make sure she is never
in pain or ditress.

I am very comfortable. I enjoy my PAT Dog visits with the man and his dog Wanda. I do not partake in many activities but very much enjoy the violin and clarinet concerts and the poetry reading.
Sometimes I have to wait for my night time medication after I have got undressed and changed into my night
clothes.
The last time this occurred it was rectified the following evening by an excellent staff member.

My father is very well supported and enjoys his time in the nursing home. Nursing and technical support is 1st class and medical support works well. Catering is first class too. Overall, we are very pleased out father came here.

We attended the 100th Birthday of a relative and all members of our family were strongly impressed by the warmth of the care provided. The staff went to great lengths to make our relative feel special and the quality of the preparation by the events manager, the food by the kitchen staff, the individual
attention given by the manager and all his staff was second to none. It is impossible to overstate the sincerity of the care. Genuinely outstanding. The good health and happiness of the residents were a testament to the staff. Well done to all concerned.
