Ashley Park located near Guildford provides nursing, residential, palliative, Parkinson's and convalescence care. The home offers both long-term and short-stay care.

Residents can stay for a few weeks, a month or for however long their loved one needs support. They’ll get to relax and meet new friends, giving complete peace of mind. The home has a dedicated respite room that can be booked up to a year in advance, the staff is happy to accept last-minute requests too.

Originally a nineteenth-century listed building, the home has been expertly modernised to provide a range of excellent facilities. The large landscaped gardens with patio areas, orchard, raised flower beds and lawns can be enjoyed by residents alongside a sensory garden and greenhouse.

Most bedrooms have en-suite facilities, flat-screen TVs and most offer views of the gorgeous grounds, seven acres of stunning Surrey countryside.

Meals are freshly prepared every day by the home’s onsite chef and menus can be tailored to the tastes and preferences of each resident. Residents have the choice of dining in the dining room or in their own room if preferred.

A varied activity programme aims to find activities to suit all interests and levels of mobility. A painting club, poetry group and calm exercise classes and quizzes are just a few of the activities available.

Every year fees increase well above inflation but without any improvements in standards. Resident now even have to pay for a telephone. Staffing levels are down below what is required and there is yet another new manager. (5th in 8 years).

Very pleased with the care and support that has been given to my mother since the first day she arrived at Ashely Park Care Home. The staff have been very good and always cheerful. The food is excellent. My family and I are sure that the care that our mother received has kept her alive.

Very pleased with the care given. Nothing is too much trouble and everyone is treated with dignity and respect. I believe the very high quality of nursing and care that my mum has received has extended her life beyond what was expected. All the staff are extremely professional and very helpful to us the relatives.

I was a senior SRN and have had a lot of experience in the care of the elderly. I am convinced that my friend has landed in a very caring home for terminal care and has been reasonably happy for the last two years, though is now tired but appreciates all that is done for her.

Having by now been in Ashley Park for six months, my mother is comfortable and relaxed. She frequently comments on the friendliness and kindness of members of staff. She enjoys her meals in the dining room or in her own pleasant ground floor room from which she has a beautiful view of the countryside.
She's an active participant in and very much enjoys the program of activities provided in the house (though would enjoy this even more if some activities were scheduled occasionally at weekends). All in all, she has definitely benefited from her first six months at Ashley Park.
