Overall Experience

My husband has been a resident (including respite care) for only 7 weeks but has settled well all being well, expect him to remain here as his condition deteriorates. Since my mother and brother in law have both been long term residents of care homes my choice of Cedar Lodge Nursing Home for my husband was made with some experience. Although I cannot comment particularly on dietary matters or personal care my husband appears to be much better looked after than he was at home. The level of staffing, the cheerfulness and calm approach of the girls and the decoration of the home, all combine to reassure me that he is in the right hands.

Overall Experience

My father has only been in Cedar Lodge for a short time and is receiving palliative care which means constant care and attention. The happy atmosphere helps us to deal with a difficult time and the caring and professional staff are always quick to respond to any problem that arises. I feel confident that he is receiving the best care.
