My mother has been at Cedar Court 3 years and has been very happy there.

She has been more unsettled recently due to the staff changes with the carers, however the management have always been very helpful to ensure her happiness & wellbeing.

My mother moved to Cedar Court after a fall and a stay in hospital. The transition from hospital was smooth and Mum has seemed to settle in well. We have visited at lots of different times and have always found Mum looking looked after. The staff have all been friendly and caring. Mum has seemed happier than she had for a while, the food and daily activities are particular highlights.

This wasnt the place I thought id ever end up. But they have made me feel welcome and care for me well. They let me decorate my room the way I wanted. My room has a patio door and I could bring plant pots & bird feeder.

Mum was a resident at Cedar Court for just under 4 years, coming form Hospital after having a mild stoke so was unable to care for herself, the team at the time were excellent as i didn't know where to begin, they made her feel very welcome from day one and continued all the time she was there, until she passed last month.
the level of care to mum and all there was outstanding and always very compassionate even with some of the more difficult residents. the whole care home works as one large Family where they all support each other. the staff where always friendly even if they had never met you before.

We felt happy that we left Mum there for her final days as we knew the care she would get would be no better than there, and after her passing i still felt welcomed to say my thanks to everyone for all the care that they had given her and given us peace of mind that we could go back to being her Daughters and not carers.

Dad moved into Cedar Court in Cranleigh in October 2024 until January 2026. During his time there he was able to out on trips, join in a wide variety of activities and local churches came into the home for services and this was important for my dad. As his daughter I was able to join him on occasions. Nothing was too much trouble if I needed some information. Sometimes we had problems with dad's hearing aids as he couldn't fit them himself and not all staff seemed aware of how to fit a hearing aid and how to check the batteries; however staff worked to improve this. I would recommend naming all belongings as well as clothing and keeping a copy of what your family member may have with them.

Staff were amazing and I always felt like we were part of the Cedar court family. I can't thank the staff enough, especially at the end for being there for me . This was the right place for dad.

My Mum moved to Cedar Court Care Home at the beginning of August. She is a physically independent 93 year old with mild/moderate Alzheimer's disease.

On the day of arrival we were met at reception by a wonderful nurse who took us to the dementia unit and showed us her room. From this point on Mum's needs were assessed and it soon became clear that the best location for Mum at this time was the residential wing. Mum then settled very quickly into her new environment. She loves her bright spacious room and thoroughly enjoys her food too!

All staff at Cedar Court are polite, caring and cheerful. Mum is always treated with the utmost dignity and respect. Any queries are dealt with promptly. It is a wonderful homely community and I always enjoy my visits there. It is very hard watching Mum's cognitive state deteriorate but, knowing she is with the most thoughtful and loving staff when I'm not with her, makes the whole situation easier to bear. Many thanks to you all.

The care you gave my mum-in-law during the last 6 months of her life was second to none. She was respected and loved by the staff at the home. The nurses were amazing and the carers were always so bright and cheerful. There are some special people that work in this place, and that is what makes it great. Thank you for taking such good care of her.

A 90 year old lady with complex needs was a patient in your care home. She was admitted from hospital for terminal care. She was wonderfully cared for with great dignity and compassion and to standard of nursing care was very high and appropriate.

Cedar Court Care Home was used for the care of my mother. She had been transferred I think in August 2024. The care and attention she received was lovely. From your entry to the property all the way to her allotted room. All the staff and health officials were contactable, kind and listened if we had any concerns for wished to discuss anything. Mum died at the care home and everything was handled with care and professionalism. A lovely place for your loved ones.

Dads stay at Cedar Court was brief as his health was failing, however in the time he was a resident he was made to feel comfortable and welcomed. The staff were kind and considerate caring for my father and made his final days as easy as could be. Carers deserve massive respect and Cedar Court is no exception - as he said when asked "you have to have a heart"

Having been a resident 6 months ago for respite care we approached Cedar Court to provide more permanent care following a swift deterioration in my Mother's health. The management team acted quickly and positively to provide an assessment of my home and then provide suitable accommodation and care that same afternoon. The nursing and care staff have been exemplary, showing kindness, and consideration and are always swift to respond to my Mum's needs. The management and admin staff have been brilliant in their assessment and reassessment of Mum's needs, moving her to the appropriate room as it became available. We are always grateful with a smile. My experience so far is very good.

My father has been in residence since January 2024 and he has settled in well and joins in with some of the activities. The care given and staff members are all lovely and say 'hello' when you pass them. There is a good feeling around the home and he enjoys the food. They are pleasant to deal with on any queries we might have.

My dad arrived at Cedar Court Care Home after a long hospital stay. Immediately, he was welcomed and cared for. My mother and I both felt confident he was in good hands. Over the last few weeks nothing has been too much trouble for the staff. They are always one step ahead with any queries we may have. Dad is happy and relaxed. Cedar Court gave my Mother the perfect, peaceful, and beautiful location for her last day on earth. The formalities of receiving her from the hospital were smooth despite the weekend admittance. The staff treated us as if we were royalty. The sun shone through the open French windows and the family was able to relax after a harrowing week in the hospital.

Mummy held my father's hand all day sitting next to him on the sofa as she passed gracefully in my arms that night.
