My aunt has been very happy - very well cared for by the staff. The nurses and carers are very empathic and have such a caring manner.

Her 6 months here have been very enjoyable for her and consequently me.

We had a reenactment of my sister-in-law's wedding at the nursing home. My wife would have not been able to attend the marriage in Cardiff. The staff worked really hard and a special mention to the activities coordinators. This was her first marriage, aged 59, and she was our bridesmaid forty-six years ago today.

My mother has been extremely well looked after since moving to Coxhill in January 2023. The environment is warm and welcoming, with full use of both the inside and outside space. The range of activities on offer is exceptional and they are all age and interest appropriate. I am always notified quickly in the event of Mum having a fall or a change of medication. The staff are always helpful and professional and several go above and beyond in their care for Mum. I would have no hesitation recommending Coxhill to anyone considering residential nursing care.

Moving my mother into care after living in her beautiful cottage for 46 years was a daunting prospect.
I needn't have worried so much, as she absolutely loved and thrived in Coxhill Manor.
She even said I should have moved her there years ago. My mother got her life back!

Excellent in all aspects.

We are really pleased with my parent's experience in the home. Lots of activities to keep their minds active. The staff all sem to welcome visitors which is lovely. Such a homely feeling at the home. The staff seem to be as accommodating with the resident's requests as they possibly can be, which I'm sure is not always easy with many differing needs. Big thank you to all members of staff.

Caring homes. Then a care home afforded me the luxury of having my wife's last days spent here at Coxhill Manor, giving her 24/7 care. They just went above and beyond to make her last days as comfortable and with the utmost compassion. Then for the celebration of her on the 3rd of June, the same.

Lovely home, well run, excellent food, welcoming, beautiful garden setting in an impressive manor. All staff are engaging, caring, kind, professional and considerate. They have got to know Mum. The activities team are superb, and a lot of activities are offered to the residents. Going into a care home is never ideal and a hugely tough decision to make, but Coxhill Manor has helped make the whole process much easier.

My mother has been at Coxhill Manor Nursing and Residential Home since October 2021 and overall I am very pleased with the care she is receiving. The staff are friendly, helpful and very caring. My mother who is in the final stages of dementia is reliant on them for all her care needs and they carry these out with sensitivity and kindness. The meals are freshly cooked and despite having to be purée for my mother’s needs are always well presented. Her room is bright and overlooks the garden so I can talk to her about the wide variety of birds that visit the old apple tree outside her window. The activities team take time to visit my mother in her room to ensure she has company. Management listen to concerns and relatives are kept well informed.

My father spent the last nine days of his life at Coxhill Manor Nursing and Residential Home. He had been in hospital and was very ill. We wanted his last few days to be in a caring, kind environment where his family could visit. The staff at Coxhill were wonderful and his stay exceeded our expectations. They cared for him with compassion, respect and kindness. The atmosphere was positive and reassuring, all staff being friendly and kind to Dad and his visitors.

My mother was transferred from a stay in hospital to Coxhill during the pandemic for rehabilitation. Due to the nature of her illness, she then remained there for just over ten months until sadly passing away on 11th February 2021. During her stay at Coxhill, all the management and staff were absolutely amazing even through the many difficult times during Covid. My mother was very happy there and always felt comfortable, settled and safe in their care. They are one big happy, extremely caring and genuinely sympathetic family and I would have no hesitation in recommending them for the home from home environment they provide.

My mother recently moved into the home from another establishment out of county. My mother had suffered an extremely stressful time during her last 12 months at the previous establishment and was recovering from Covid when we relocated her. She was feeling very vulnerable and traumatised when she moved in but Coxhill Manor Nursing and Residential Home were absolutely amazing and took time and care to build her confidence up again. She was nervous to leave her room but all the carers and the manager worked hard to encourage her downstairs and now she is partaking fully in all the lovely stimulating activities Coxhill provide for the residents. Family and friends that visit mum say how happy and cared for she is and what a difference being at Coxhill has made to the quality of her life.

My mother sadly passed away in March 2021 - during the Covid pandemic - whilst she was a resident at Coxhill Manor in Chobham. During her relatively short time at the home, she was very well looked after and cared for. The staff went to great lengths to engage with her and also tried very hard to keep communications open for us to talk to each other in line with the Covid protocols that were applying at the time.

I am proud to lead an enthusiastic and compassionate team that is passionate about what they do and dedicated to providing excellent care for our residents.

I feel very fortunate to work alongside such caring and skilled individuals who support our residents with the same love, respect, and kindness that we would expect for our own families.

I am passionate about the well-being and happiness of both our residents and our team. As Home Manager, I lead by example to create a positive and motivated environment where high-quality, person-centred care is at the heart of everything we do.
