This fine Victorian home has been sympathetically converted and includes a number of delightful garden rooms, affording wonderful views over the landscaped grounds. Specialist interior design helps to ensure that residents are able to move freely around the home, with bedrooms and communal areas appropriately laid out and clearly signposted to minimise confusion and aid orientation.
They have their own dementia training, which highlights the importance of meaningful activities and a stimulating environment for people living with dementia, in addition to addressing clinical aspects of care. This specialist training provides the hospitality team and chefs with the skills and knowledge to stimulate senses and increase creativity in the cooking and presentation of food. This can provide a much-improved dining experience for residents living with dementia and or dysphagia.
Fees are subject to a pre-admission needs assessment which is required to fully understand the level of care and support required by each individual. Premium rooms normally require an additional charge. Nursing fees include the Funded Nursing Contribution (FNC) if you are eligible.

Mum seems very happy here. Staff are very caring and interested in the residents. They treat the residents as individuals and constantly invite feedback in order to implement the wishes of those in their care often small things make a difference, mum likes to wear makeup and jewellery but is now unable to do this for herself the staff ensure this is in place, mum likes a glass of wine with a meal and all residents haver a choice of wine with each meal. The entertainment team work hard to provide a varied programme. Communication is very good and we feel well informed of mums health and welfare she is unable to tell us very much herself. As a family, we are made to feel very welcome at whatever time we visit. Mum settled in very quickly due to the friendliness of everyone at Coxhill Manor.

The care my mother receives at Coxhill Manor provides me with the reassurance that she is cared for and her needs are all met. The staff are so welcoming and thoughtful and do the little extras that make them more friendly than carers. Coxhill Manor and its staff are very special indeed. The residents of Coxhill Manor are all so happy and speak so highly of the staff. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff. They are patient, caring and so kind. The activities and events held at Coxhill Manor for the residents are wonderful. I am a particular fan of animals being allowed to live with residents or at the care home and for animals being brought in to visit the residents. The nursing home is extremely clean and the food is of a good standard. The management and nursing staff deserve recognition for the caring, friendly, happy environment that is Coxhill Manor.

We are very pleased that you have a positive impression of our team and the high-quality care they provide. Coxhill Manor is an older building which retains a myriad of period features – from stained glass and leaded windows to parquet flooring, original fireplaces and rooms with fine high ceilings. We are happy to report that we have a rolling ongoing maintenance programme to ensure that our high standards of service can be properly maintained. We always welcome the opportunity to improve and hope that you will continue to share your suggestions with us in the home in future.

About six months ago my wife was diagnosed with dementia which was unexpected and came as a great shock. Her consultant advised that she should go into a care home due to her condition. I tried various homes in the area but was not impressed, until I met the manager of Coxhill Manor in Surrey. He appeared to have plenty of time to discuss my situation, including finance and funding. He showed me the room which was available which was very pleasant, clean and had an excellent view of the well kept gardens. During our tour I noticed how relaxed the residents were with the carers and staff, who treated them with respect, but talked to them like friends. I learnt that at least two qualified nurses were always on duty day/night. All my family were in agreement that my wife should take up residence at Coxhill Manor. We have never regretted this decision.
