Rico finished his degree of Business Administration Major in Management in 2001 in the Philippines. He has always worked in the care industry particularly with Dementia since 2006. Rico has also studied Health and Social Care NVQ level 3 and 4 and participated in various training and workshops related to care and Dementia.
Rico is very passionate about making a difference in the lives of our residents especially with Dementia and likes to be positive in approaching any challenges.
Being a manager, Rico is very approachable. He ensures that the home delivers a compassionate and high quality of care with a homely atmosphere. As a leader, he leads by example and supports the staff in maximising their strengths and potentials.
As Administrator, Ann is responsible for the day-to-day administrative functioning of the home and supporting Rico. This involves a variety of tasks such as employment checks, enquiry handling, show rounds and admissions, to reassuring residents and relatives and dealing with their day-to-day requests.
Sandra graduated from university in Italy with a language degree, allowing her to secure a position as an International Conference Organiser for UNESCO. 20 years later, Sandra relocated to the UK, working as a freelance Translator in corporate environments, later becoming an Enquiry Officer in the Police Force.
Holly Lodge welcomed Sandra to the team in 2018 as our weekend administrator. Sandra quickly became a great advocate of the care provided at Holly Lodge along with the family atmosphere the home creates.
Bea is our talented Chef at Holly Lodge who ensures residents enjoy a varied menu focusing on the nutritional needs of our residents. Bea has over 10 years of experience working as Head Chef in the care sector.
Having joined the Holly Lodge team in 2015, Bea quickly made an impression on residents, relatives and staff. The food she cooks is appetising, nutritional and commended by all. She also regularly goes above and beyond for resident’s special occasions.
Our dedicated and experienced nursing team is responsible for managing the clinical care of our residents at Holly Lodge focusing on their holistic care, which includes their mental, physical and emotional wellbeing.
This involves administering medication, working with our home GP and supporting senior carers and carers to ensure residents receive person-centred care in accordance with their assessed needs and plans of care.
Claude is our Handyman who works very hard fixing things and making sure our home runs smoothly. This involves ensuring that any maintenance/repair works are carried out promptly and efficiently with minimum disturbance.
