Overall Experience

I have been visiting Serena for the past 4 and a half years. When she went into residential care my wife and I , understandably, has concerns about her welfare in a Care Home. After our first visit to Jubilee House, we had no concerns whatever. I believe that for some Care Home Carers, it is just a job to them. For the whole team at Jubilee, I believe their work is a "calling" and a natural vocation for their true feelings of proper care for the Residents. I have never heard a raised voice, a note of frustration or sense of annoyance towards any of the those in their care. What I have seen is total love and commitment towards the residents. I also know that the Carers frequently buy presents out of their own money for the Residents on their birthdays. The social side of Jubilee House is outstanding with frequent, and often, events arranged that are incredible and must surely raise the spirit of those that can appreciate it. My wife and I cannot thank everyone at Jubilee enough.

Review from Lorraine E (Sister of Resident) published on 18 June 2026 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My Sister has been at Jubilee House for some time. I see her frequently and she has always been well presented, and always has a smile on her face which, in my opinion, is due to the staff and the good care she receives. There is always a very happy atmosphere from the moment of entering the front door, where you are treated like a friend by all the dedicated staff, which radiates throughout Jubilee House. Everywhere is always clean, tidy and well maintained, as is all areas, inside and out. There is always, on a daily basis, activities for the residents, whether cooking, exercises, gardening, mobility and many other. I, as her sister, are always informed and kept up to date of matters relating to her health and wellbeing. I will always be happy to, and have, recommended Jubilee House to others. I cannot praise Jubilee House high enough for all they have done and do for my Sister and all of the other residents that need their care and support.

Overall Experience

My mother was admitted to Jubilee House 18 months ago, when it became to much for us to look after her at home. It made it a bit easier for her as she had had two weeks there the year before. The staff were so welcoming and she settled quite quickly. To begin with she would stay in her room and watch TV but after a few months of encouragement from the staff she started taken part in many activities. Unfortunately she had a stroke and is now nursed in bed. But still some activities are brough to her bedside. I cannot give the staff enough praise for the work they do, from the nurses carers, domestic and reception workers. Sometimes meals are a problems, not wanting to eat. She gets encouragement from the staff. I have recommended other families to Jubilee House. Thank you for looking after her so well. The family appreciate every thing you do for her.

Jubilee House has been absolutely wonderful in making my mother-in-law feel welcomed, safe, and comfortable from the very beginning. The staff are incredibly kind, encouraging, and genuinely engaging, taking the time to support her and make her feel at home. She has been very well looked after, and the level of care and attention they provide is truly reassuring. As a family, it has given us real peace of mind knowing she is in such a caring and supportive environment. We are very grateful for everything they do

Review from Neil G (Son-in-law of Resident) published on 2 December 2025 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience
My father in law has been in the wonderful care of the team at Jubilee House for 6 months and it has quite simply been an incredible transformation in his quality of life. The standards and variety of care, empathy and putting the resident first are clearly evident in the way he now engages back with life that was sadly slipping away fast before he moved in. From the nurses, to the carers to the activity coordinators and all the suport teams, everyone always has a smile on their face and nothing is too much trouble. People often refer to something as being "the best decision we ever made" , well we are in no doubt that this is definitely that.

Words can't describe how grateful we are to the Team at Jubilee House for having welcomed my father in law and us into their family, we are eternally grateful.

Overall Experience

My wife moved into full time care at Jubilee House in mid-May and has begun to settle in really well. Inevitably the major change of leaving home was very disruptive to her but the friendly and professional Jubilee House team took it all in their stride and she is now much more cheerful and making friends among both the staff and her fellow residents. I was very impressed that, with involvement of the local surgery, they immediately set about reviewing and adjusting her medication to ensure that she had the best combination possible. This inevitably takes time but is already showing results. I love the way that Jubilee House encourages the involvement of friends and relatives which makes it easy to observe just how well the whole organisation operates. At a recent party to which I was invited, it was a delight to see how all the staff focussed on the enjoyment and involvement of the residents. Jubilee House richly deserves its many 'Outstanding' ratings.

Nealsen Veerasawmy
Nealsen VeerasawmyJob Title:Home Manager

After moving to England in 2008 I started work as a Carer for Care UK. The company offered a platform to deliver outstanding and person-centred care, alongside career progression opportunities.

I started as a Care Assistant, before working my way up first as a Team Leader, before doing my nursing training and becoming a Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager, before taking over as Home Manager.

My favourite part of each day is getting to spend time with the residents, chatting and having a laugh. Also, working with the other colleagues as a team towards a goal and being able to achieve it.

The support is available within Care UK and I thoroughly enjoy being a Home Manager.
