After my late mother was a resident at Jubilee House receiving palliative care up until September 2020, both my father and I knew that this is where he wished to be should he fall I'll or become unable to care for himself.
Sadly after being diagnosed with terminal cancer in November 2021, we knew that there would come a time that he would need care at the later stages of his illness.
Everyone from the customer relations manager to the nursing and care staff, to the chef could not have made my dad welcome or made him feel at home. Knowing all the members of staff due to Mum being a previous resident made the whole process so much easier for us.
When Dad was admitted as a resident, he was given the best palliative care throughout his remaining time, and with love and dignity, you could wish for your loved one.

I couldn't thank all the staff at Jubilee House enough and recommend them to prospective resident and their family.

My husband has been at Jubille House since December 15th 2021. He has settled and responded well to the very caring staff. Lockdown has made it quite difficult to visit him within the home, so sometimes we can only see him through his bedroom window. We are aware there may come a time when he does not recognise us, but at present, he is always so delighted t see us, for which we are grateful. The support to us from the staff has been excellent.

My husband has had an unfortunate experience in another care home for respite, which landed him in the hospital for over five weeks. He always had dementia, but now it is considered more advanced. With the way this current care home works, both he and I are more accepting of the situation, and I certainly realise it is the right place.

Dad was transferred to Jubilee House directly from the hospital as he was too ill to come home. Since arriving at Jubilee House, he has dramatically improved under their wonderful care. All of the staff are so friendly and caring. I am so pleased he is at Jubilee House.

I always receive a lovely welcome when I visit the nursing home. The nurses always ask if I would like a drink, which is excellent. It gives you that homely feeling. All the nurses and staff are very efficient, excellent and cheerful doing their work. Its an excellent and very efficient nursing home.

I am very glad that the hospital found a place at Jubilee House for my husband, who suffers from advanced dementia. I have found the staff compassionate and caring. They have been fully supportive of me at this difficult time. They have kept me informed of any changes to his care. The cleanliness is excellent.

I'm extremely happy with the care my Father has received at Jubilee House. He's been resident since 2017 and has been very well cared for throughout his time.

Communication and support from the staff to me is very good and has been particularly so throughout the covid pandemic.

My wife has now been in the care of Jubilee House for four years. Over this time the care and attention she has received has been outstanding. What makes this home so special is every member of staff from the manager down is devoted to doing the best they can for everyone in their care. This includes relatives where again time is taken to ensure you are in good health both physically and mentally.
Obviously, there are times when things go wrong, on these odd occasions they listen, provide feedback and do all they can to resolve the problem.

I have no problem in highly recommending Jubilee House as a first class care and nursing home.

My wife has been in Jubilee House since November 2017 and suffers from Altzheimers. The care she has received from the staff of Jubilee House is absolutely superb and we can not ask for anything better.
The staff always welcome me when visiting and always ask after my health, this means a lot to me.
I do not have to worry about my wife's care and I can sleep at home with guaranteed peace of mind.

Thank you all at Jubilee House.

My father has been a resident of Jubilee House for nearly 2 years. He has late-stage dementia and needs full nursing care. The staff are friendly and very caring. They are always approachable and respond to questions in a detailed way. The home is clean and bright and the residents kept clean and very well cared for.

I would have no hesitation in recommending Jubilee House to anyone who wants their relative cared for in a friendly, warm environment by people who really do love their job.

My mother-in-law has been a resident at Jubilee House for a year now. The care she receives is fantastic. The staff are a good team and are attentive to her needs. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. The accommodation is of a very high standard and is well laid out so the residents can access all the facilities. It is clean and well maintained. The catering is varied and popular! We get regular updates by phone or email on all medical issues. There is lots of entertainment and activities going on all the time. They are very understanding of dementia. Thank you Jubilee House.

The accommodation is clean and is helpfully set out with all rooms; bedrooms and common rooms along one corridor. The small quiet lounge is especially nice. Staff are always visible and helpful. Communal events and activities are well run and are good for residents. The enthusiasm of staff and their competence is clear to see. Only occasionally am I disappointed that my wifes glasses are not worn but have been left in her room - she needs her glasses. I am comfortable with the care and attention that my wife receives and that is important for me. She eats well and enjoys her food. Many thanks to all.

My mother recently moved to this home from another provider. I have been delighted with the care that has been provided to her. The staff and management have treated her with a genuine concern for her well being. The facilities are very good and she has settled in very well and appears to be as happy as could reasonably be expected from someone in her condition. I am so pleased I moved her to this excellent care home.

Jubilee House has always provided excellent and compassionate care for the past one and half years of my husbands residency. His dementia has just recently escalated and they are struggling, however, they are so involved and supportive to me and my family and continue to work closely with the doctors, specialists and agencies to provide the best care.

Meet the Team (1)

Nealsen Veerasawmy
Nealsen VeerasawmyJob Title:Home Manager

After moving to England in 2008 I started work as a Carer for Care UK. The company offered a platform to deliver outstanding and person-centred care, alongside career progression opportunities.

I started as a Care Assistant, before working my way up first as a Team Leader, before doing my nursing training and becoming a Clinical Lead, Deputy Manager, before taking over as Home Manager.

My favourite part of each day is getting to spend time with the residents, chatting and having a laugh. Also, working with the other colleagues as a team towards a goal and being able to achieve it.

The support is available within Care UK and I thoroughly enjoy being a Home Manager.
