The service my partner received and the care that was received was to such a very high standard.

My mother went into the Barchester Reigate Beaumont in September initially for respite following a fall. From the very first day, the staff helped her to recover her mobility and confidence. This was done with encouragement and gentle persuasion. The staff on her wing have been exceptional and have gone above and beyond their duties to make her life as happy as possible. She has settled at the Beaumont in a way that my family did not think would be possible. Having initially been hesitant to leave her room she is now joining in with certain activities that the Beaumont offer. This is due to the staff gently encouraging her to engage. She has enjoyed having the hairdressers and manicurist on site. The transition from her own home to the Beaumont has been made easier by the wonderful care shown by the staff.

From the day I was just shown around until today I have found that everyone working at Reigate Beaumont consistently strive to provide professional individual focused care. The atmosphere is very friendly and relaxed while the attention to detail makes everything run smoothly. My mother has settled in well and she is helped and encouraged to live with as much independence as she is able and her face lights up when she sees her carer. The surroundings are five stars and we are extremely glad she lives in this caring home.

We chose Beaumont Nursing Home for Nan after she had a fall and was unable to return to her residential care home. It was a difficult time for her and for all our family, from the start, the Manager and all the staff at Beaumont really did their best to make the transition as smooth as possible for Nan. They tried hard to take on board all her personal requests/needs. The rooms at Beaumont were lovely and always very clean and tidy. When she was able, Nan joined in some lovely activities with the wonderful activities coordinators and she really enjoyed them. They also do some lovely summer events and the summer dog show was enjoyed by all the family (and dogs!). The grounds at Beaumont are stunning and the food also always looked amazing. Sadly Nan passed away recently (at 101.5!) but the staff were gracious and caring until the end. I will look back on Nan's last chapter knowing that she really was in the best place possible. Thank you to all at Beaumont!

When looking for the right care home for my grandparents, we considered many places locally. However, this place stood out from the rest. It never failed to disappoint. Three years into her care, we couldn't recommend the staff more. They always do everything they can to help, even when my loved one suffers from Alzheimer's. Thank you, Barchester Reigate Beaumont,

My mother was admitted to Beaumont Reigate from hospital after she had a fall which left her with multiple fractures. She was immediately treated with kindness and respect. The nurses and carers were attentive and the GP was excellent. She had physiotherapy and despite refusing to eat, a carer patiently attempted and still attempts, to feed her. At 101 years of age, the outlook seemed bleak but she is progressing well and is taken in her padded wheelchair to any activities in the lounge that the carers feel she can attend and from which she might benefit. I would recommend this care home. The gardens surrounding it are beautiful and ALL the staff are happy and caring.

We have been delighted with our choice of Barchester Reigate Beaumont Care Home. Dad was discharged from hospital in the midst of the Covid pandemic, which added complexity to what is already a stressful time. The whole team at Reigate Beaumont have been fantastic, from the initial administration to the care itself, medical support and the activities provided. Communication with us, as a family, has been exceptional. It is evident that staff want to provide the best experience for residents.

I was extremely impressed at how the staff are managing and looking after everybody during the pandemic. Staff are always friendly, the visiting pod is very clean and all staff wear PPE to protect the residents.

It is a very difficult time for everybody but the staff are so reassuring and kind to the residents and do their utmost to ensure they have comfort and contact as much as possible. Thank you all for everything you are doing.

Review from Julia H (Brother of Resident) published on 12 January 2021 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

My brother has been at Reigate Beaumont for about 3 years. In that time, we have found the staff very caring and efficient, especially in the last year when times have been very difficult for all. The reception desk has operated as usual and is always very helpful in answering any queries or requests. I feel unhappy that the residents have been confined to their rooms for such a long time, which has hampered any exercise and been quite depressing for them. I do understand that this may have been necessary, and the ruling came from Barchester, but nevertheless, I did notice that my brother was quite withdrawn when we were eventually allowed to visit him. I do give much praise for the organising of firstly, the marquee, and then the pod which is beautifully kitted out and lovely and warm! Half an hour goes just too quickly! My brother says that he enjoys the food and the catering staff did their bit during the summer, making the most of having special teas out in the garden.

Extremely kind and helpful staff. This has been a very difficult time with restrictions for visiting but I have been less worried because of the amazing care my dad has received. Dad has two key workers who he has got to know well which makes a big difference to him.

I cannot recommend the Beaumont highly enough. My mother received truly excellent care, and I always felt she was being well looked after at all times. I was so grateful to individual carers and managers who went out of their way to make her happy and comfortable. The food was second to none. The reception staff were always friendly, helpful and efficient, and nothing was ever too much trouble. In these COVID times, visiting was always made as safe and easy as possible in the outside area.

If you are looking for a home from home for your loved one, I cannot praise the staff enough for their amazing empathetic kindness to my mother and stepfather whilst being here. Beautiful surroundings, modern and up to date home, comfortable, light and airy rooms, friendly faces, always someone to talk to if you have any queries. Nothing too much trouble. Excellent all round and would 100% recommend. Activities are available in a beautiful lounge, lovely dining facilities. Dignity and respect were given at all times.

Mum moved into the Reigate Beaumont in June this year having suffered a heart attack.
I can not recommend this home more.
The care staff are so kind and thoughtful and despite my Mum saying she would never want to live in a care home she has said now that she does not want to go back to her house as she is much happier here.
The nursing staff are diligent and knowledgable and keep a close eye on Mum.
Mum loves her food and she says that the food at Reigate is lovely which is a true testament.
I know it is difficult times and visiting mum is difficult but the staff bent over backwards to make every garden visit a happy experience.

Would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at the home.

My 84-year-old mother had been in hospital for a month before going to Reigate Beaumont and I cannot praise them enough. She has obviously been sad at not being well enough to come home but the home has managed to get her settled and happy. We have not seen her in person for over two months but with the help of the care staff, we manage to talk through Skype. The receptionist is a lovely lady who will also try to find a solution to a problem. The nurses and care providers do a wonderful job in very difficult times and I am so grateful for their care of my mum.

Thank you Barchester Reigate Beaumont.
