I have been many times to this home and have always found the staff polite, courteous and kind. I especially appreciated the attention to small but important details today. The staff - patient was very high today - so that no one was rushed. I would have no hesitation to recommend The Red House or allowing anyone close to me to be moved to here. I have had experience of many care homes. Well done everyone!

The Red House continues to create a wonderful family atmosphere which is so important for residents and relatives alike to know its a real home for their loved one. The day to day care is exemplary and my wife is completely settled and happy. The management have installed a culture where all the staff whatever their specific role get to know the residents and relatives and I think this is a major strength of the home and helps make it so well respected locally.

I visit The Red House every week and love the friendly atmosphere. I am always made to feel welcome and a part of The Red House family. The management and staff work as a team to provide care of an outstanding quality. My aunt has been a resident for 4 years and is always treated with respect, compassion and has quality care. We have nothing but admiration for the hard working staff. Mealtime are a joy of her and she enjoys the activities programme. The home and residents are kept very clean. Well done to the manager for her ongoing work in an excellently run, care home.

A family member was in the care of Red House for just over a year. In their care she flourished and we saw moments of her younger self come back to life as she settled into the home and their care. She gained weight, became engaged, and was well cared for. Sadly she passed away recently and the care and compassion the whole team showed was wonderful. They are the most amazing care home, all the staff are just fantastic. Highly recommended.

Red House staff continues to provide kind and thoughtful care to my frail mother. Last March, they helped us to celebrate her 90th birthday with a specially baked cake containing mum's favourite eclairs. The staff know that mum does not eat well but always try to give her the food that she likes and give her plenty of time. Thank you to all of you for caring about her wellbeing and doing your best every day.
Thank you and kind regards to you and your family.
Kind, supportive and helpful. Welcoming and answer any questions we have. Nice environment with caring staff.
I have been very happy with my time at the Red House. The staff are very great, I am so proud to have my father-in-law staying here.
I only come to see her once a week. I always find the staff very helpful.
Thank you to all the staff for your very good work in looking after people needing all degrees of care.
I come here to visit every 2 weeks to see my auntie. When I come in, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, it's always so homely, and they are so good and kind to the residents. It's clean and inviting. My auntie felt happy when she moved in. I would definitely recommend the Red House to everyone.
I only see her once a week. I've no complaints.
Everyone looks after mum very well. She always seems to be comfortable in her self even if she's not able to articulate this. Staff are all friendly and all feels like a big family.
Always very impressed by all the employees at The Red House. The care of my mother is excellent.
Dad seems to me to be settled and satisfied with the care he is receiving in The Red House. I think he would like to be taken out more often, if only to local amenities. I believe that the communications to relatives could be improved. I also request that Dad be notified when I am due to visit, but I'm not convinced he always knows that I am visiting. On the whole, he is being well looked after, and he seems happy with his care.
The management team are efficient with flexibility and understanding.
The nursing team are extremely professional regarding doctor visits, physio appts and medication.
The care team are friendly and attentive.
The catering team provides delicious meals, cakes and there is a daily selection to choose from.
The garden is beautifully landscaped.
The interiors are clean and comfortable.
The Red House is excellently managed, with every team member working extremely hard to the highest of standards.
My mothers health and wellbeing has improved with your care.
Many thanks.
This is a very comfortable home and my mother is well cared for. My mother has seen the nurses caring for difficult residents with patience and care. The home provides services like hairdressing, nails, hand and foot massages. They have a full holistic approach. It does not feel like a care home and we are like a family. I am in my 90s and am having a wonderful time.
All staff are extremely friendly, helpful and caring. Food is excellent (I have had lunch there with my father several times). Staff made a huge effort to enable us to take my father to the Remembrance Day Cenotaph march past. Any medical or dental issues are sorted very competently by their staff, always keeping us well informed. I am not surprised that they have an outstanding rating.
My father in law has been with you for 4 years now, he seems very happy and content. He feels comfortable inviting people to visit him, know they will be welcomed and often offered tea and biscuits. He is treated with respect and dignity, there always seems a lot of staff around who are attentive to the resident'd needs. The food is good with lots of choice. The Red House are very good at keep us informed if there are any changes in his health or dental needs.
My mother is unwell this week due to a long-term medical condition and is receiving excellent care from the staff at The Red House. We are kept informed of every change to her condition, staff make time to update us on every visit, and Mum is being treated with dignity and respect. She is calm, well-fed and is being made as comfortable as possible. Thanks to all involved.
