I am a respite resident and have been here two weeks. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The accommodation is very good and bedroom pleasant. The Bistro is open all hours, therefore a good cup of coffee etc is always available. I have had visitors who have been impressed with the accommodation
and have opted to have the evening meal with me. The care team are first class and once I have sorted out my existing home it is my intention to make Sunrise of Virginia Water my permanent residence.

Experienced positive, caring and sympathetic attitude by ALL staff during my father's demise, and ongoing support to my Mother, both of whom had been resident of Sunrise Virginia Water since my fathers' descent into dementia.
Nothing was too much trouble following his death, including being able to
hold the Wake there, where friends and family could also see and experience the outstanding environment in which Mum now lives.

I am very happy and reassured by how my grandmother is looked after here by Sunrise staff. The team is genuinely caring towards the residents. The catering team provides appetizing meals to tempt those whose appetites are no longer what they were.

Excellent care. Only criticism is that my Grandmother needs a little more encouragement to engage with the activities to ensure she doesn't become lazy or despondent. If she says 'no' it doesn't mean she doesn't want to do something in all cases!

Staff are very caring and responsive to requests. The rooms and surroundings are pleasant and recently renovated. The activities are good but more focus on fitness is required. Residents need to be encouraged to keep active. They don't need classes on how to relax.

At Virginia Water, we have a lovely activities team and we run the Live with Purpose Programme. This covers a variety of Activities enriching the mind, body and soul. I started my career at the iconic Waldorf Hotel in London which inspired my passion for hospitality.

I really enjoy catering for all our residents’ dietary requirements. It’s a very rewarding job and a privilege to cook for them in their home.
