Tilford has 50 spacious bedrooms, all with ensuite bathrooms or washbasins in the room. The rooms without en-suites have accessible bathrooms or wet rooms nearby.
There's a secure garden where residents can join in with outdoor activities or simply enjoy being outside. The lovely courtyard is an especially popular place to sit and chat.
The grounds include an aviary, with hand-reared birds (cockatiels and budgies) from eggs.
The activity schedule is varied, from music to book and film clubs, quizzes, arts and crafts and storytelling. The residents get fully involved in suggesting new activities and trips, and the minibus is often used!
Tilford has strong connections with the local Church of England, Catholic and multi-denominational churches, and they visit regularly.

My mother was a resident for approximately one year and I was extremely satisfied with the level of care she received. She was a dementia sufferer and I was always so happy with fact that she was treated at all times with dignity and respect. I found the staff to be very caring towards all the residents and they embraced all of their individual characters and idiosyncrasies. The home itself is immaculate and the residents rooms kept very tidy. The Manager is fantastic, very front of house and totally accessible to staff and visitors alike, it is obvious that the residents are her priority (I have had experience of other care homes where this is not the case), it is very professionally run. The best recommendation that I can give is that whenever I left at the end of visiting I never had any doubts whatsoever that my mother was being well cared for.
