The staff make my husband and I feel like family.
Heartfelt thanks to all.

The staff and management team are fully aware of all the residents needs and personality. They are also fully supportive of the family members. They go out of their way to make sure that every residents need is met in a caring and thoughtful way
I would like to say this is a very good care home, the staff are great, and the food and activities are likewise. Am pleased we chose it as friends had recommended it to us. Would gladly recommend to others.

We would like to praise all the wonderful staff, and especially the catering team who provide such wonderful homemade food every day. Thank you.
Fantastic Place! Lovely carers looking after my mum. She loves the company & the day trips out. She's also started joining in with the Bingo and Karaoke, and certainly enjoys the wine and cheese. Looking forward to having Xmas dinner here with her
Haven care home has provided outstanding care for my husband. The staff are compassionate, attentive, and always go the extra mile. The home is clean, welcoming, and offers great activities. Communication is excellent, and my husband is happy and well cared for. Highly recommend!
The meals they receive are always first class.
From the domestics to the carers to the nursing and admin and not forgetting management we couldn't of chosen a better place for my sister to live.
Staff are always accommodating and attentive.
The home is a nice environment and it's nice to be able to use the garden. Food is always really good.
Excellent all round. Staff very caring. Highly recommend.
I cannot fault this home. Clean and very friendly staff. Food is amazing. Plenty of activities just a shame my mum is unable to concentrate and join in sometimes. Lovely for my mum to sit outside in the garden now the weather is getting better. Once the garden work has been complete will be even better. My dad sits with my mum all day every day and the staff look after him too always smiling and having a quick chat. Staff here work extremely hard. Well done team.
My father was in Haven for 5 months, myself and my sister thought how lucky we were to have Dad stay with them he had such wonderful care and it really was a home from home. Dad made some great friends, the staff could not have been kinder. He died peacefully. He enjoyed his time with them, everyone was always so helpful and kind from management, to the care staff, to the cleaning staff and the cooks. We really are so happy Dad went there, I would recommend it highly.
Fantastic atmosphere.
Mum loves the cheese and wine.
My grandchildren are always made welcome.
Really so impressed.
My auntie has been staying at the haven for 3 months and I am so impressed with how well she’s doing! Their staff is very helpful and always happy to answer all our questions. She is engaging a lot in the activities and I can say are great at what they do and have really given my auntie support to engage.
The Haven Care Home is now home to our mum. Mum has settled in well her room is comfortable and has everything she needs she also has personal bits and bobs in her room. Nothing ever seems too much for the staff they are all very kind, treat Mum with respect and dignity. Mum loves her food which is very good quality and well presented. The entertainment team are all fabulous innovating and encouraging all the residents, providing numerous events.
He was so unwell in the hospital before he went into the home and now he has put on weight and is becoming a little bit more independent with his daily tasks.
Everyone always has a smile and I always get a warm welcome whenever I visit.
I will always recommend this place to people.
The home is clean and the staff are lovely and nothing is too much trouble.
Every day she sees the manager who pops in to see her and that means so much to her.
My daughter does not receive the standard of care which she received under a previous care provider. She is left constantly in bed in her room. Under the previous care provider during the good weather, she was placed in a chair and taken into the garden which was what I frequently asked of your company.
Thank you for raising your concerns with us, we are very sorry that you and your daughter have not received the care that we expect at HC-One. I have spoken to the HM and both Home Manager and Area Director will be monitoring this, we would be more than happy to meet with you and the Home Manager...
I feel very comfortable and at home in the Havens. The staff and management are very helpful and caring. Although I was worried about coming into a care home. Although I was worried about coming into a care home. I now know I had no need to be worried. I have been able to bring some of my own belongings and this had helped me feel that I am at home and this has been down to the caring and attentive staff.
They are very caring and supportive and have made me very comfortable.

I have been working at Haven permanently for the past three years and currently work as the Night Manager. Before joining Haven, I was actively involved in supporting my local community during the COVID-19 pandemic, which is where I discovered my passion for caring for and helping others. That experience taught me the importance of compassion, teamwork, and being there for people when they need support most.
Since joining Haven, I have developed valuable experience in care, team leadership, problem-solving, and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of both residents and team members. I take pride in creating a safe, welcoming environment and providing support whenever it is needed, helping to ensure every resident has a positive experience at our home.
What I enjoy most is being able to care for and support people. I found it incredibly rewarding to build relationships with residents and their families, helping them feel comfortable, safe, and valued.
In my spare time, I enjoy watching and playing football, as it allows me to stay active while enjoying the team spirit and competition that comes with the sport. I also enjoy taking part in a variety of other sports and outdoor activities to keep fit and challenge myself. One of the things I value most is spending time with my family, and I regularly visit them in Portugal whenever I have the opportunity. I also enjoy attending concerts and live music events, as I love experiencing different artists and sharing those moments with friends and family.

As a dedicated administration professional, Michelle has gained a wealth of experience in providing comprehensive financial, payroll and administrative support within the care sector, helping to enrich the lives of elderly people. She is a knowledgeable and dedicated leader who handles essential responsibilities like managing staff payroll and overseeing the home's daily business operations.
What I enjoy most is being the welcoming face of the home and helping everything run smoothly behind the scenes for our residents and their families. I love that my role allows me to support both our wonderful care team and the families coming through our doors, ensuring they always find a warm, helpful and organised environment.
Outside of work, Michelle loves spending lots of quality time with her family, especially since recently becoming a proud nanny. When she is looking for a bit of adventure, she also loves travelling and getting out on the open road on a motorbike.

As a dedicated healthcare professional, I have gained valuable experience in providing compassionate care and support to Residents. I started my journey at Haven as an agency carer and became a permanent member of the team, where I continued to develop my skills and knowledge. After a year of hard work and commitment, I was promoted to Senior Carer, and I have since progressed into my current role as a Nursing Assistant.
I am passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care and supporting Residents to live with dignity, comfort and independence. I enjoy building positive relationships with Residents and their families, and I work closely with my colleagues to ensure every Resident receives the best possible care and support. I feel very grateful to be part of Haven, where the management team is supportive and encourages me to continue growing in my role.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, relaxing, and taking part in activities that I enjoy. I believe having a good balance between work and personal life helps me stay positive and continue giving my best at work.

As the Maintenance Operative of Haven care home, I am dedicated to keeping the home's health and safety my top priority for residents and staff, ensuring everyone is safe and happy within the home.
I enjoy daily talks with residents and helping them to personalise their bedrooms how they wish.
In my spare time, I enjoy listening to music and working on cars as my hobbies.
