The Polegate Care Home

Mummy has been here for 4 months now and absolutely loves it here. She has good company, good food and is safe. I enjoy my visits, and mummy enjoys the trips out. I gather from a phone call this evening, she went to the beach for fish and chips today! Thank you Polegate Nursing Centre you are all stars.

I visit my friend here once or twice per week. It’s a lovely little home. The staff are bright and friendly. Nothing seems too much trouble. My friend is doing very well in his recovery. Would highly recommend!

My wife spent some time at this nursing home following a short spell in hospital with multiple illnesses. When we arrived things were not quite as we expected. I went and spoke with the home's Manager who instantly had these errors corrected. However, I still went home with worries. I visited the next day and couldn’t believe how well my wife looked. The amazing carers had helped her have a shower and get her hair done. I had lunch with her which was scrumptious. Originally we expected my wife to be there for 6-8 weeks. However, because of the outstanding care she received she was able to come home within 3 weeks!! I have never been more grateful, The Polegate made what was a very distressing time turn into a pleasurable experience for both of us. Thank you.

Where do I start? I was apprehensive about staying in a care home as I don’t class myself as elderly! However, I was faced with having to, following an accident. I have to say after some initial teething problems (which were resolved straight away!) I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The food was outstanding. The Chef not only had skills he also had a sense of humour making meal times superb! The care staff go above and beyond day after day. My room was cleaned daily, I always had fresh towels and sheets. The manager visited me on my first day and throughout my stay. The receptionists are a fab bunch. There is always a friendly face who is willing to help or just have a chat. I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for good care, in brilliant surroundings! I may come back soon just for a holiday!
