I have now been a resident here for two and a half years and have found the staff and conditions here are wonderful. I am 95 years old and could not wish for more care or attention anywhere in my latter years. I feel that all the staff including nurses, carers and domestic staff are all "friends". The
food here is excellent with an extensive menu to choose from. The entertainment team cater for all tastes and arrange something each afternoon to cover all tastes. My room is very pleasant and overlooking a most beautiful garden, which has a beautiful fish pond and an aviary. We can go down to the lounge for our lunch or have the privacy of our own room if we wished. I would give the rating for everything here as 100%

My wife has been a resident at Queen Alexandra Cottages Homes for ten months. She has special needs which are fully attended to with great enthusiasm and dignity by the matron and all her staff. Overall care and support is very high in my opinion lots of polite carers on hand to deal with any situation
that may arise. The food is excellent all prepared by a first-class chef and team in a new state of the art kitchen. The open door policy for visitors at Queen Alexandra is an added bonus I can visit anytime. I can take my wife out for the afternoon and take her home for the weekend. This level of freedom I find is exceptional for a nursing home. I find the entertainment and activities varied and stimulating. The matron is very approachable.

I have been associated with Queen Alexandra Cottage Homes for 7 years. My Wife was a resident of the care wing for 6 years and the care and attention she received was exemplary. I am now a resident in the independent living section of the home with a bedsit which has been fitted out to a very high standard
and affords me all the facilities I require.

Since my mother in law has been a resident (March 2017) she has been given the very best care.
The staff are friendly, welcoming, professional and compassionate and nothing is too much trouble.
The personal care, food, facilities and surroundings are of the highest standard.
In short, an excellent
care home.

Staff are kind, caring and helpful. The manager and matron are always available. I would recommend it and have done so. You are very fortunate if they have a vacancy for you, I consider myself privileged to be a resident in their home.

I feel very lucky that my mum is in this nursing home. She receives excellent care and the staff are very hands on always cuddling mum and giving her lots of attention. The home itself is modern, with comfortable lounges and a lovely garden. There are lots of activities for the residents which are varied
and well thought out. I would have no hesitation in recommending then home which I consider to be the best in Eastbourne.
