Woodside Hall is a first-class nursing home that delivers quality service to its residents. My friend stayed there until the end and I must say it is like a hotel hospital and hospice in one. I would recommend this nursing home to anybody who wishes to experience quality care as their staff are very friendly approachable and caring.

Amongst many other ailments, my dad has Dementia and Parkinson's and always got obsessed and agitated over many things. After falling and breaking his hip the anaesthetic needed to fix his hip adversely affected both these illnesses and sadly he can no longer do anything for himself. In Woodside Hall Nursing Home he is always calm and very well cared for and the staff take great care of him. You can visit at any time which shows there is nothing false about his care so we would highly recommend Woodside Hall. Thank you for taking such good care of him for us.

This is my father's second stay at Woodside Hall. The care has been second to none and he has enjoyed his stays. The staff have been very professional and understanding and my father has often said how good the food has been. All in all a very pleasant stay for him.

We had lunch here today with mum which was very nice. Easter fair today which we looked forward to. The gifts were lovely as was the lady selling them. The clothing was OK albeit rather pricey. Unfortunately, the man selling them was very full on and pushy putting us off making any purchases. Now awaiting afternoon tea which is always good.

If you have a loved one who needs care, Woodside hall is first class care. Each and every member of staff were gracious, respectful, extremely caring and considerate to both my sister and myself from the moment of contact and to any family or friends who visited my sister thereafter. I could come and go with no restrictions on time and nothing was too much trouble. My sister's end of life care was exceptional and I don't know what I could have done without them.

Our mother and father started living here in August 2017. Sadly mum died, but the few weeks that she had here she really enjoyed. Your staff were very kind when she died and also helped my father of 91 to go to mum's funeral. It meant a lot to us as a family. Since then Dad has generally been looked after very well. However, the staff have lost a very expensive hearing aid and his lower dentures. Also, he is checked only every 3 hours which we feel is not enough and have asked for him to be checked every hour.
We like the fact that staff write notes which enables us to know what treatment he has had for that particular day. We feel that this home is a cross between a hospital and a hotel. If I was ill at my age 61, I would be more than happy to be a resident in this lovely home.

A big thank you for all the staff who do a very difficult job very well. On behalf of a large and grateful family.

Mum found the room very comfortable and met her needs. The staff were friendly and helpful. Mum reports that the atmosphere was lovely and she felt at home.
I rang her on the second day and asked if she was settling in and her reply was "settling in? I'm settled". I went on holiday with peace of mind.

Only area for improvement I would say administration.

Mother has been here for 5 months coming straight from the hospital as she could not go home. I have nothing but praise and admiration for the staff and whole set up. Nothing is too much trouble. Mother and her room are always clean, tidy and whole building smells lovely and nursing has improved mother's leg ulcers totally, which district nurses could not achieve over several years.
