My mother is very happy living at Woodside. She finds all the staff very caring. Her room is light and bright. We would recommend the home to anyone requiring short or long-term care. Woodside has a family feel to it.

From the day I visited Woodside Hall I felt it was a suitable place for my husband, and I was right, he settled in with the help of caring staff. As I live very nearby I was able to visit every day, treated with friendliness and able to observe how well all the staff worked together - cleaning, laundry, kitchen, activities, handyman, caring and excellent nursing staff. For the final months my husband and I were treated with dignity and support.

Mum is very well looked after and settled. She recently celebrated her birthday, all the staff gathered with a cake and sung Happy Birthday which was lovely. Since arriving in August, Mum has also made friends with a number of the other residents. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. It's a relief to know that Mum is safe, well cared for and has friends (new and old) around her.

This was our first Christmas with Mum in care and the staff and residents went out of their way to make Dad welcome to Christmas Day Dinner with Mum. Yes Christmas was different this year but it was made far easier by the lovely staff if Woodside Hall.

My dad is well cared for here. He is as happy as he can be in his stage of life. Always has company and is well fed. I get regular updates on his health and mental state and never worry about him since he has been in Woodside. All the staff seem happy and friendly and the place is always clean, without the smell I have encountered in other care homes I've visited. I'm happy that he's in the best place to suit his needs

Prior to moving Dad from hospital into a nursing home, I visited Woodside Hall and was pleasantly surprised by the environment and the caring and friendliness of the staffing team. Dad moved during August 2023 and settled in well, he enjoyed joining in the activities and having a good old sing-song. He was pleased with the Japanese artwork he produced which he gave to his wife. Whilst Dad was at Woodside Hall he had his 90th Birthday which they hosted. Dad's family celebrated his big day. Dad's room looked over the garden but when this was refurbished he was moved into a more spacious room, in which he was comfortable and looked after. The care that Dad received was impeccable and we would like to express our thanks during his final moments with an amazing member of staff by his side. The whole team at Woodside, from administration/cleaners/nursing/care staff are a credit to the care sector. The grounds are amazing and we even enjoyed attending a fete which the home had arranged.

All staff welcomed and cared for Mum. They made her a part of Woodside and encouraged her to feel at home by giving her responsibilities for watering and tending the house plants. She made good friendships with other residents.

I had previously stayed at Woodside Hall and was so well looked after, when I left hospital in October I went straight to them to recuperate. Woodside is well-run, clean and attractive and all the staff are attentive and helpful. The range of food made meals a pleasure and the little snacks lovely. My regret - I have not written a 'thank you' letter to them.

My husband has been a resident at Woodside Hall since March 2024.
I cannot be more impressed with the way this home is run, the kindness and friendliness of the staff are second to none.

He was understandably not happy to be in a care home to start with, as it is a very difficult thing to accept, but the staff have been so kind and caring to both of us, that his transition from home to there has been so much better than it might have been. The home is kept so clean with no lingering smells that I have noticed in other homes. Today my husband said to me that he felt it was home from home which is a huge relief to me. The food is excellent! They have a very good Chef!

My father, who is 97 years old, has been a resident at Woodside Hall Nursing Home since last June.
As a family, we could not be more happier with the way my father is looked after, it's first-class!
The carers are friendly and helpful and most importantly, tend to his needs in a professional and caring way.
The moment you walk through the doors, the environment is comfortable and clean. Fresh flowers are always in the reception area, light and airy, in a very good, decorative condition throughout.
Thank you Woodside Hall.

As a family, we can relax!

My father has been a resident at Woodside Hall Nursing Home for just over a year and I have found the home and staff to be very welcoming and approachable. The building is very clean and tidy and the food that I have seen has been of a high standard. They offer some lovely activities and events for both residents and relatives to attend on a weekly basis. Both medical and administrative help have been of the highest order, often going above and beyond. All the staff all the way up to the manager have been very approachable and friendly, always offering help by phone or email (and in person), especially as I have had to manage a lot at a distance. I am very happy with the care he is receiving.

My mother was also at Woodside for nearly three years before this and all the same comments applied to her time there too. She was cared for very well and I was very happy!

A warm welcome and a smile always greets me when visiting my mum at Woodside Hall Nursing Home.
Mum is very well looked after, and she is happy at the home.
It is always very clean and tidy, which makes Mum happy.
She says that the food is very good and that she enjoys the meals.
The staff are very friendly and caring. Whatever Mum's needs or wishes are they are met well at Woodside.
From having her hair or nails cut to needing to go to the hospital for a routine appointment.
Everything is dealt with seamlessly.

It really is a home-from-home. I know that Mum is being very well looked after there.

My uncle was given less than 3 months to live and I had to quickly find a nursing home to take him. I visited first and chose Woodside Hall. I cannot fault the care he received he was always clean, tidy, and shaved, and although he was a resident for 4 weeks he was very happy there.
