Review from Sandra (Daughter of Resident) published on 17 October 2017 Submitted via Website
Overall Experience

The design of the building restricts some upgrades but the care delivered to my father is outstanding. The current management team are very actively involved with the managing of the care and support both to residents and staff. I am confident the team caring for my dad respect and give him the dignity everyone deserves at all times.

Reply from Deidre Johnson, Home Manager at Barford Court

Dear Sandra,

Thank you for your kind words. We are working hard on improving wherever we can. We are currently looking at creative ways to engage with people on our dementia house, through utilising our Day Service Staff where possible.

This home has a great atmosphere and is homely and comfortable. The staff are happy to help relatives and friends as well as residents and are very caring. There is generally a lively feel of the place and I get the impression the residents have a lot of fun. Recommend.
