An elderly neighbour of mine spent from late November 2022 to mid-January 2023 at the Victoria Chatsworth Nursing Home, recovering from an operation while a care package could be put in place. All the staff, carers and nursing staff, were all friendly, helpful and understanding of my neighbour's needs
and, most especially, the senior nurses were marvellous with any help or information I needed with regard to my elderly neighbour's stay, medication and updates on how her recovery was progressing and also ensured they chased up the care package provider so that it was in place.

Overall care and attention are good. Two members of staff, in particular, are excellent. Most meals are excellent. Since losing the activity coordinator activities are greatly reduced.

Because of a problem with my flat, I was here longer than expected. I could not have been looked after better by the staff. I was surprised that the owner did not visit to see all the residents as well. Thank you to all.

I visit my grandmother regularly and I am extremely happy with the care she receives. The activities for December, for the Christmas period, is exceptional, the decorations, the way everyone gets involved. I would recommend this home to anyone. The carers are well presented, polite and my grandmother
adores them.

My mother is very happy in this care home. The staff are always pleasant and polite and willing to help in any way. Mum has enjoyed a trip to the church recently to see the Christmas trees and has enjoyed the activities and entertainment.

My experience as a visitor was good. I was welcomed with a smile and covid safety rules and regulations were adhered to with care. My friend was at Victoria Chatsworth for two weeks and made good progress with the help of staff and a visiting NHS team. Her only complaint was that one female member of
staff was unkind to her when she rang her bell needing the toilet due to a urine infection.

I was in quarantine for 10 days which rather spoiled my stay. The staff all did their best to help with the loneliness, but I found it difficult.

Our Mum was at Victoria Chatsworth for 14 months. We are really pleased by the way she has been looked after during the time she was there from the start. The staff have been amazing and given the circumstances with regards to covid, they have continued to care for her under very unusual and stressful
times. The experience of the senior nurses was outstanding and they contacted us when they felt it was going to be end of life care and arranged for us to visit Mum daily over her last few days which meant so much to me and my sister, which allowed us to be together as a three to say our goodbyes.

Throughout my stay, I have been given care and attention to the highest possible standard. the nurses and carers here demonstrated warmth, concern, friendship, and interest constantly and I have been enormously impressed by the depth of their concern and dedication. I liked the atmosphere. The manager was warm and welcoming. I cannot fault the care my husband received while at Chatsworth and I was so relieved to have found a nursing home where I knew he was in good hands. It was an awful time for me and my daughter but the care and compassion shown by all the staff
went a long way towards making the situation bearable.
