I cannot fault the quality of care the staff at Acorn Lodge Care Home give to their residents, especially those with dementia. The staff are excellent, cheerful, helpful, patient, caring and kind in every way. Communication with relatives is also very good. The residents always look clean and tidy in
appearance. The rooms and home are clean also. I would highly recommend Acorn Lodge.

My friend has been at Acorn Lodge for four years and she is very happy there. She is very well looked after both physically and emotionally. The staff are superb with the residents and may I say they have made me most welcome all this time. I feel well supported by the team of managers, nurses, and
carers as they understand it is hard for us to see our loved ones in such an altered state. I would be happy to live at Acorn Lodge if ever needed. Best love and wishes to them all.

The decor is dated but suits the feel of the home which is comfortable and clean. The staff, in general, are friendly, helpful and caring. Meals look appetising and plentiful. On the whole, I am pleased with the standard of my mum's care.

I cannot fault the staff and the care they have given my Mum. She moved in here in May. She is not able to speak up for herself. The home, after a short while, has been able to understand my Mum and anticipate her needs very well. I visit at all times of the day and always find she is well cared for
and I am made welcome.

My daughter has been looking after my mother-in-law but she is so frail now that she needed to look at nursing homes and this one was one of the nicest.
