Unfortunately, our experience did not match the level of care that had been promised. We encountered several issues during her stay, including concerns about medication management, staffing levels, and the provision of basic care equipment. These concerns were serious enough that we submitted a formal complaint.
Thankfully, she was transferred to hospital after one week, where she received the end-of-life care she required and passed away with dignity.
While the home is modern and well-presented, we were deeply disappointed by the care provided and regret our decision to place our grandmother here. We were also disappointed by the amount refunded after her short stay.
Dear Liam

Dear Liam
Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of your grandmother.
We are aware that similar reviews regarding the same stay have been posted across multiple platforms. While we respect your right to share your experience, it is important to highlight to readers that the concerns you raised during her stay had already been discussed, investigated by management, and responded to directly.
Your medication-related concerns were addressed promptly, with healthcare professionals and clinical experts involved throughout, and appropriate measures were implemented to support her comfort and wellbeing.
Short term stay bookings are non-refundable under the signed agreement. However, we provided a refund as a gesture of goodwill and compassion.
Whilst we are sorry your family remains disappointed, we are confident that all concerns were taken seriously and addressed appropriately. We wish your family well during this difficult time.
