Pendean House Care Home

Pendean House is always very welcoming. The staff is there to help with any need or activity. The home is clean and well presented, making it look like a comforting place. My father is very happy here and loves the staff. He isn't very sociable but they all interact with him to keep him happy and comfortable.

Great place. Always clean, nice rooms, food, gardens and caring staff. Excellent during COVID lockdown. Downsides - perhaps slightly more staff as really elderly people sometimes need more attention. I'd be happy to be there when my time comes.

I have been associated with Pendean for many years and love the staff, the facilities and environment. The staff are very sympathetic and helpful.

I have nothing but admiration for all they do. He was in the best place possible at the end of his life.

The resident is very well cared for an is happy to be at Pendean. We are always welcomed when we visit and offered tea/coffee. There is a lovely, family atmosphere and there is always a lot going on for residents to get involved in and enjoy.

The residents I visit are happy and contented. I have always found the carers, staff and management most welcoming and very hospitable. It is a very joyful occasion visiting Pendean House Care Home and greeted by 'would you like a cup of tea'. Well done.

Food was very good and the accommodation was first class, clean and comfortable. Activities were available everyday if wanted. A number of staff had stayed for years.

We can return home to Perth, Western Australia, knowing our dear mum will be safe and cared for at Pendean House. Most of all we are happy Mum has every care and respect from all the staff at Pendean House. We can't thank them enough for all the kindness and reassurance. Without a doubt, we would recommend Pendean House Care Home.

My father has just become resident and so I can only comment on limited experience. However, so far I have found staff to be extremely helpful and thorough, and kind and respectful towards my Dad. They have answered all our questions efficiently, and have helped us through the process without a 'hard sell' attitude. Everything appears to be good, however, it's too early to grade certain categories.

We have been visiting a friend who is a resident of Pendean House. She is bedridden so we have no experience of the home's activities. However, her room is clean and comfortable and the staff are very attentive and kind.

Nothing is too much trouble for the staff.

I have visited Pendean House three times so far. My friend is extremely pleased with his care and gets on well with all the staff. I have talked to staff myself and found them genuinely interested in making residents as relaxed and comfortable as possible. I have had two lunches with my friend in care that have been good food and happy events.

My sister has received the most wonderful care in her last days. The staff were excellent in caring for her, but as important was the care they have shown to all her relatives and visitors. I have not experienced such tenderness and concern for the patient's relatives before, it was very humbling and very appreciated by us all.

I would recommend Pendean House to everyone and could not be more grateful to the staff who took great care of him.

He has put on weight, can speak and move right arm better.
