St Georges Court is a 76 bedded care home providing person-centred care for adults aged 65+, including those living with Dementia and those with nursing needs.

Situated just off of Hills Road, the home is within walking distance of the town centre, which hosts a wide range of shops, churches, restaurants, and other facilities. The local railway station is situated within a 5-minute walk and a good local bus service operates closely to the home.

St Georges Court is divided into 3 units over three floors. All rooms are single occupancy with 52 rooms having en-suite facilities.

Each unit has a dining area, lounge and a kitchenette as well as bathrooms, shower rooms and toilets throughout the home. The upper floors of the home are accessed by stairs or lift. All areas of the home are accessible for wheelchair users.

St Georges Court provides:

Thank you for all the help, love and care for our dad who is very precious to us all, he was in a bad care home before and was an awful experience, thankfully he ended up at St Georges Court 2024.
Since then he has improved and is very happy, we are happy, staff are amazing, the management are superb,
all brilliant. Sadly I live in Derbyshire which is a bit far for regular visits, but I know he is in safe hands. I work in a care home also which I love. Well done all looking forward to seeing u all in March.

I would highly recommend this care home to anyone. My great aunt has settled in wonderfully, and she always seems very happy when we visit. The home is always bustling with activities and entertainment, which helps keep the residents engaged and lively. It's also very clean and well-maintained, which
gives me peace of mind. Most importantly, the staff are incredibly caring and attentive. It's clear they genuinely care for the residents, and that makes all the difference. Overall, we've had a fantastic experience.

When I visit my granny, it's amazing to see her so happy! She's made so many friends. It's really light and bright with a cute garden to sit in. I don't live locally so I tend to visit when I can, but I'm able to keep updated through the homes social media page, which is brilliant! My granny would definitely

I was so pleased to see my dear friend being so well cared for in this lovely home. It really is just the right place for her and she seems very happy and has settled in very well. She tells me that the staff are very caring and she enjoys the daily activities and entertainment.
It all looks very
clean and is a friendly, comfortable environment. She didn't complain about anything at all and she is not always the easiest person to please!

I come here about 3 times a week to see my dad. I have found St Georges Court is all round excellent. The nurses and carers are fantastic with dad. It's a lively atmosphere and they get dad involved with activities, he's not just stuck in his bed. My dad is often in the lounge listening to music, watching
TV with other residents.

My father who was suffering from Alzheimer's before his death was looked after with extreme respect, care, and kindness. St George's is always spotlessly clean and the staff could not be more friendly or helpful.
We could not have asked for a better place for our dear dad to spend his final days.

Lovely care home, well organised and managed. The team are very kind and caring, but the CQC rating does not show the true side of St George's Court. The level of care respect and compassion that is given to my partner's cousin in the final months was second to none. We would recommend this lovely home.

Was worried about the CQC rating at first but St Georges Court is a lovely care home. Very clean, no odour at all. The staff are kind and caring to not only my cousin but all the family. The home have lots of entertainment and craft activities. The manager is very friendly and the home is well-led.
We would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a care home. The home has parking and is in the centre of Cambridge.

Had the pleasure of attending this care facility as I have done on numerous occasions this year and I can not express how impressive it is. The staff are friendly but professional and always very caring. Several times I witnessed real compassion from the staff who had not seen me enter the room, so
I know it's all genuine. The place is clean and warm and has a very nice, friendly and caring atmosphere.
So glad we got Nanna in here, anyone thinking of using this facility would not be disappointed.

I am so happy I found St George's Court for my grandad. The staff are always so welcoming and friendly, I always feel at ease when visiting my grandad as he always seems so happy. The home is always clean and tidy and the atmosphere seems very happy!

The care home taking wonderful care of my grandma. It feels like one big, happy family. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and eager to assist both visitors and residents alike.
The home offers a variety of activities throughout the week, along with regular entertainment, and it's always kept
spotless. The food is excellent, and when I leave after visiting Grandma, I feel completely reassured knowing she is receiving the best care.

Job Title: Care Manager

Lynn began her nursing career in 2007, mainly working in Acute Medical Units and Accident and Emergency departments.


Lynn worked in the NHS for the next 11 years, until 2018, when she decided to seek a role in the social care sector. After gaining significant experience during her time in the NHS, and previous roles within care homes, Lynn is now a skilled Care Manager at St George’s Court.
